Nice folks running the hostel. The kitchen is very minimal. The breakfast is toast. A couple of nice social areas to meet other travelers. She was unalble to get us a taxi in the rain so we had to walk to the main street. Overall, I would recommend this hostel.

This hotel will accommodate your basic needs for a tourist, but the rooms are outdated and a bit dirty. The common areas are nice, as is the pool and computer lounge. Breakfast is tea, bread with jam or butter and eggs. Also, I strongly recommend upgrading to a room with an A/C because Santa Cruz is very hot.
