La Torre is in a great position amongst the main attractions of Lucca and in theory a great base for a break in the city. Unfortunately, the whole B&B is quite shabby & doesn't compare well to other "hostels". The shared bathrooms are dirty, run-down and damp, the bedrooms noticeably damp with uncomfortable beds and each room looked like it needed decorating. None of us slept well because of the noise from the surrounding streets and we checked out 2 days early to find nicer accommodation. Poor.

Wonderful stay with a wonderful family atmosphere. The Italian breakfast was the best in Italy!

Great place for a stay in Lucca. Nice rooms, clean. A little loud in the morning but you stay in the center of Luca...When arriving with car they help you with parking. We only paid 6 euros for one day in a parking garage near their house. Very warm welcome and great breakfast, served by very nice people!
