Not my style of hostel - young drunk English kids & music blaring through the whole hostel until 6am. May be another travellers paradise with a pool & big bar. Paying 26,000 I expect a seat on the toilet.

Rooftop bar has a great view and good for a few beers at night. Pool was great as it can get pretty warm in Taganga.

Great design of hostel, the fridge doesn't work and the kitchen continuously stunk because of it. Nice staff. Tried to check out one morning before going to Tayrona. Then staff on in the morning couldn't take our payment or work the computers to work out the bill. Had to leave passports and return at a later date. Very inconvenient. I was asked to front the cash for two others that never returned just cos they were in my room. Organisation and maintenance and some care required

Bathrooms need improving, sinks in all the rooms I saw were hanging off the wall. Kitchen is filthy with ants crawling all over the counter. Bathrooms not cleaned every day.other hostels manage to stay clean through the wat shortages so this is not an excuse.

Rooftop terrace gives an amazing view over the town, the bay and the surrounding hills. Staff is friendly and is able yo help you in case of questions. However, I had to attend them to the 10 percent HW payments. The six-dorm is a bit small and gets hot during the night. According to other guests, this is the only room with this problem. Backgarden is nice as well and the two turtles living there are cute. Good atmosphere.

Nice bartender who makes the party. Also loved their rooftop bar

It was a lot of fun!! Very clean rooms and showers!! The bartender was very nice and willing to help provide a fun time!! Alfredo was very patient and super sweet always. I recommend this hostel highly!!

We loved our stay at La Tortuga, Mona and Sean took great care of us and we would certainly go back. Lovely building with a roof top bar and great music, games and spectacular view. Mona was happy to have our bags whilst we went to Tayrona for a few days and also look after our laptop after we left it in the room! The pool and kitchen are perfect too to cool down and keep costs of living down, brilliant place highly recommended.

Amazing staff and rooftop bar! A bit dirty but that is understandable with the water issues.
