Very good atmosphere, helpfull staff, and confortable place. Breakfast is a little bit spartan, but it is not different from all other hostels I've stayed in Argentina. I loved my stay in there and I recommend it.

In 20 days of journey through Argentina, with stays in Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn and Bariloche (to name just a few), la Tosca was by far the best place to stay. The quality of the furniture and the cleanness of the room was by far better than any expensive Hotel in Buenos Aires - plus you have the friendly La Tosca staff on top. Thumbs up! If you like to meet new people, the shared kitchen and the social room are surely great places to make new friends. Great Hostel. Keep it up! Please!

Our stay at La Tosca was great. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. They give you the right advises for your trip. We like the breakfast very much because of the homemade cake every day. The hostel has a great backyard where you can meet other people. The rooms are small, but perfect for to stay. The kitchen is ok and you can use the parilla. We love it!

Great Place! Nice common area and kitchen. Very friendly staff! They book you tours etc. But check rental cars for trips to the peninsula. It's gravel road but no problem if you drive carefully and it's worth the freedom desciding how long you want to stay at one place...

La Tosca was very clean and the homemade breakfast breads were delicious! The beach/main part of town is a short 10 min walk.. The hostel has a beautiful courtyard, however all rooms face the courtyard and they do not monitor how late people stay in the courtyard. The night I was there, people were partying past 2 am. Also, there is one staff member who can be a bit pushy and did not offer other suggestions if his recommended tour company did not have an itinerary that fit with your schedule.

Nice hostel. The staff are really great, good location, clean hostel. Very chilled out hostel that is full of families, older backpackers and couples. I wouldnt really recommend this place to younger backpackers travelling alone as it can be a little dull at times.

We really liked the hostel. It was one of the best hostels in whole Argentina in which we stayed and we are travelling now for more than 2 months. Great atmosphere and unbelievable friendly staff who were caring about the hostel guests a lot. Good equipped kitchens and comfortable common area. We will definitely come back. :)

La Tosca Hostel was awesome! The staff was really friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. I really appreciated the laundry facility, the 24 hour kitchen, and the common bathroom. This hostel was great and if I'm ever back in Puerto Madryn, I'll definitely be staying there again. Thanks for the great adventure!!

Rodrigo, i think was his name, is great. He remembers everybody's name, gives good recommendations about tours and makes great cake. Location 5 to 10 minutes to areas of interest. 10 minutes walking to the bus stop. Rooms for 2 are pretty small but they do their job. They clean the room everyday. The interiour court is amazing and also the common area. Definitelly a good choice for Puerto Madryn. Almost forgot. The breakfast is really nice with home made cake.

Honestly, one of tyhe best hostels ever. And great, BIG washrooms. You know, roomy showers :-) Only bad part was breakfast, a basket of tiny pieces of cake. Like Betty Crocker cake. Urgh. But cool place, great vibe, super helpful staff that do remeber your name. Awesome stay.
