I came here after my trek to ciudad perdida feeling pretty tired. First, they had no Internet. They gave me the code without bothering mentioning Internet didn't work. The dorms are looking good but they are directly aside the 'party area'. That night, they had a party until 5 am. No joke. Music super loud, I told the staff to turn it down, they did, but put it back up two seconds after. Bad experience. Couldn't sleep one second. Woke up to beers and butch of cigarettes everywhere. Don't go.

The hostel is fine. Nothing great about it but nothing terrible either. Has outlets at every bed. That's a plus. Staff was a little salty.

Great hostel, centrally located. Has a small pool and kept very clean. Staff aee very helpful and has great facilities.

was expecting great things from this hostel but not to be. This paints itsself as a chill hostel???? - music til 5am both nights Thurs and Friday, blaring right beside dorms. nobody even listening to it apart from Barman and 2 others while 40+ people try to sleep. So selfish. And the music was rubbish, switching between Afroman and Scooter. There is nowhere to escape this either. chill area is right beside speakers and covered in fleas. WiFi is terrible and down 80% time Pool is filthy.

The hostel had a lot going for it, nice air conditioned rooms with comfy beds. As good a bar as you will find in a hostel but, at least when I was there, the atmosphere was very subdued and not many seemed to mix. Wifi was painfully slow at times. Perfect if you want to just chill out but not much happening. Maybe I was just unlucky.

Depending on the day, you will either find very friendly and helpful staff or the opposite... Bar music until midnight is annoying if you plan on getting up early

Hostel is really nice and would recommend to stay here. Beds are great and there are even stairs to every top bunk! Wi-Fi was quite erratic - it was very slow, and then worked normally at other times. Santa Marta is very hot, and air conditioning was great, but the only thing to note is that it is only turned on after 8pm and turned off every morning at 7am on the dot.
