Dear Sir/Madam, in spite of booking a room for the last 13th of July in LaLeLu hostel, I had to book another room and spent the night in another hotel. According to my reservation I would had arrived at 9pm but I arrived earlier, so when I was in front of your hostel I was calling the entry phone but nobody answered. Therefore, I called to the phone number 00491733515217, which was in the reservation e-mails but nobody answered the phone, so I sent an sms and nobody answered either.
Dresden is an undiscovered gemm and so toois this hostel. Very cheap and it is like a hotel. Doesn't even feel like a hostel. I will recommend it to anyone. Loved our stay.

This is a lovely place if you are looking for some downtime. The rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has free tea and coffee. The bathrooms are clean but there are no staff present and there is no atmosphere if you are looking to socialise. Would highly recommend it to those like us who have been travelling awhile and just need some quite time.
clean, soft atmosphere, super equipped kitchen, comfortable. 5 minutes on foot to the center of Neustadt.

The room is quite nice, clean and tidy. However, it was pretty annoying to have to wait 40 minutes until someone appear at the reception to give us the key. On top of that, during those 40 minutes I was calling to the phone number which is on the web, and no one picked that up. Also, once you are in the room, you can felt every little sound from other rooms, the kitchen, and the bathroom.
LaLeLu is a delightful little hostel. The rooms have funky, quirky decor. However, the staff member when I arrived was very unfriendly and only spoke German. I was offered a city map which turned out to be a semi-legible photocopy. There was no tourist information available. After my arrival, the office was closed for the rest of the 3 days I was there. Even though there were others staying there, I never saw anyone. There are no common areas except the kitchen so everyone stays in their rooms.

it isn't a bed and breakfast. still, huge rooms with character and the tram station is right in front of the house
