I think it's lovely that there are still places like this, where it's not just about money! Uncle Jack is an amazing character, and he really has his heart in running this hostel. The athmosphere is very cozy and relaxed, and the hostel is clean and good quality. The breakfast is far better than the usual toast&jam, and one evening Uncle Jack surprised us by cooking us a delicious dinner -for free! I just love this place!

You can enjoy a (near) 360 degree view of the harbour area at the balcony. The room is spacious and clean. The hostel has a kitchen and serve free breakfast. Very close to the ferry terminal. A supermarket is downstairs(although food prices are extremely high for Malaysia)

Jack will look after you, especially if you're up for a beer or two. But don't worry if you're not, he generally takes people out so the hostel is still quite. Great location for town and his scooters make the whole island easy to get to (they're more expensive than advertised on this site, but still cheap). Love the roof sitting out area.

If you come to Labuan, you have to stay at Jacks. its simply the best :-)
