The facilities and cleanliness were great, but what really made the difference was the staff (4 people) they explain everything about the facilities, made bookings and were really helpfull, always with a smile... The best hostel I stayed so far in this trip!

It's true the staff aren't exactly Applebee's waitresses, but they're competent and polite, and that's all you really need. The hostel is pretty bare bones, you might even say industrial, but it is cheap, well located, and equipped with wifi and lockers.

This hostel was rather average. Located near the trendy Museums-Quartier section of Vienna, it was easy enough to reach by metro, but the facilities were quite spartan and the other guests, at least when we went, by and large did not seem to have any other interest in interacting with others (perhaps because there was no real common lounge). The staff were fine but very brusque, handling the job with virtually no enthusiasm. However, it was clean and a safe place to spend the night.

There's nothing special in this hostel, but it's fine for staying one night because the location is so good and price is lowest that I found. If you want more than just a bed and shower, choose some other place, if not, this one is ok.

Emplacement au top : juste à côté du centre. Mais les chambres ne sont pas des chambres mais un immense couloir de 30 lits où il fait très froid. Accueil minimum. Pas de salle commune.

The location is the best you could find in Vienna. Unfortunately, it's the only reason to stay in !

Don't stay here!! There are other well-located hostels for the same price offering better facilities and service. The dorms are not really rooms, as there are no walls and the spaces are not separated between. We got the B- building which had 8 beds AS SOON AS you enter to the building, so from the street they get a panoramic view of you. With no door in the middle, another "room" of 8 beds, next thing, the kitchen. Badrooms are poorly cleaned and so is the kitchen. Try Do Step Inn!!!

Really sorry for the hostel... The day before I went to Vienna, I was in Bratislava and try to check some more information which I have asked the staff via the e-mail. They answered me.... but it was such an unpleasant e-mail which I expect from a good hostel... So I check again at hostelworld.com and I found a lot more of bad reviews (there are a lot for instant actually). The rating fell down hardly on the day... So I decide to change my plan and get to another hostel in Vienna.

If you are looking for the cheapest accomodation in Vienna, here it is. Still, the receptionist was not helpful at all, and sometimes he was even rude. You could really see that he didn¡t want to work, didn't like what he was doing, etc. The rooms are tiny, the hostel is very noisy, and as there is no reception in the actual building there is nobody to control it neither. There were no kitchens, common areas, places to sit, etc. Wifi was not working most of the times... :/

This place gave terrible directions, terrible amenities for the price and the staff was never around to answer questions. If they just happened to be in the office, they seemed annoyed to be helping you.

It was cheap yes, but kind of dodgy... The room opened right out onto the street and the lockers looked like they would fall apart any second... When they said eight bedroom dorm is actually turned into one massive room where way to many beds had been placed. There there three rooms joined together, and then an extra room at the end- three showers for all of us and four toilets. No kitchen facilities except a fridge and microwave. Got really noisy and really dirty too.

For 12.90€ we thought it was ok if we just had a bed to lay on but this hostel offers clean baths, a gentle staff and a lot of facilities: a fridge, boilers, wifi and even a computer connected to internet for guests use. But what it gives its best on is the location: it\'s almost attached to the underway station Neubaugasse and a couple of minutes on foot from the Museums-quartier station.

The hostel is frankly disgusting. Rooms for 4 are extremely small, even for hostel standards, and rooms for ten... let just say that there are no rooms for 10, it is just a salon converted into a dorm. The reception is the worst ever, very little help. The location is good, but don\'t let it be the only thing you look at. Metro tikets are not so expensive in Vienna and it can take you everywhere within five minutes.

Hostel itself is not so bad (it has place to sleep and warm water;)), but the staff (receptionist) is horrible ! She welcomed us by complaining that she has to work 15h /day and when we came later from the shop with some beers in a case, she started to threaten us that drinking in the hostel is forbidden and the and that she has my credit card. (I have heard "credit card" 20 times during 3 days ;\) . There is no place to hang out or even sit outside rooms. The only plus is a location.

4beds room was so small, then we changed to 10beds room and it was a warehouse with 30 beds. There was no division for rooms.

Only positive about this hostel is its location. Be prepared if you stay in this hostel to receive the worst welcome to Vienna EVER by the woman behind the front desk with bleach blond hair. I cannot stress enough, how rude and and even insulting that this woman was, to every person who walked in the door after us! She obviously doesn't care about her job, and it reflects when she calls you stupid. As well as 1 night 6 people had to sleep in our 4 bed dorm, again due to this awful person.
