I am so sorry that I did not stay in this hostel as the staff has made over booking of the rooms and has transferred us to other guest houses. What a shame!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was bright, airy and large and very comfortable. A very calm and peaceful place to enjoy a much needed break. A perfect place to watch both the sunrise and sunset with stunning views of the in both directions. It was wonderful chilling on the balcony watching and listening to the waves break close by. The guest house was perfectly placed with a bus stop right outside which made reaching Galle & Matara both easy and very cheap.

The owners of lace rock were lovely and very welcoming. However, this is NOT in Unawatuna - it is about half an hour away, and there is nothing at all going on there. This guest house is definitely not where advertised, and if you want to be in Unawatuna, do not stay here. We also arranged airport pick up with Lace Rock, and were charged far more than is standard in Una.
