Loved our stay here. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is great (full cooked breakfast for free!) and the have £1.50 dinners every night (which are also great). They have a living room with loads of DVDs and a projector, or just for sitting and talking with people from all over the world, this place is seriously amazing. It's about a 20 minute walk from the centre, but don't let that discourage you, if I'd paid double for this hostel, it still would have been an excellent value :D

The hostel was about 20 minutes from the city center and it was an easy walk. The staff is great, always willing to help, including booking a couple of tours for you. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the lockers were big. Sometimes the queue for breakfast was a little long, but the staff worked as quick as possible and it was great having hot breakfast included (English breakfast). Dinner at the hostel was cheap too, 1.50GBP for a cheeseburger and chips. It was a great stay.

A charming hostel with fabulous, accommodating staff. If I were to come to Belfast again, I would make a point of staying here.

This was possibly one of the best hostels I've ever been to. The staff is incredibly kind and the whole place has a homey feel to it. Breakfast is free, you can sign up for £1.50 dinners, and the bedrooms are warm. They also give good advice on what to see during your stay. I couldn't recommend these guys enough. You'll love staying here!

Could do with some soundproofing in the windows! More noise outside than in.

Very nice hostel, much more better than the official youth hostel of Belfast. Good free breakfast, very welcoming staff, good value. I definitely recommend this place!

First hostel I've stayed in, and definitely an eye-opener, hostels are freakin' awesome! Staff were amazing, and meeting so many different people. I loved every moment at Lagan's and I look forward to staying there again

Great hostel, with great staff who are super accommodating! So genial--loved them! The hostel itself was clean and cozy, BUT the only problem I really had was internet/outlets! It was a huge pain to get on the internet because it would take so long to connect (if it ever would) and it would be slow. We had troubles even with the hostel computer not connecting. Also, a bunch of the outlets in the room we stayed in didn't work, so people kept unplugging other peoples' things...

Loved this hostel, however I did get the feeling that communication between management and employees was terrible, making it difficult to get the same answer. Also loved the breakfast!!

The least expensive hostel I've stayed in so far travelling through the uk and Europe, and surprisingly also one of the best! Comfortable beds, nice and quiet, and the best breakfast I've ever had at a hostel - scrambled eggs and toast.

The kitchen were dirty, and small. The breakfast were a little bit disorganized but was tasty. There were few bathrooms for the entire hostel - just four bathrooms with one shower inside it, for everbody. So, if you were in a hurry, you might had some problem with time spend in the line to use. The location was good to visit some atractions of the city but it was far from the centre and the bus station. The Staff was helpful in indicating tourist points, and, schedule tours but, the organiz

This hostel is wonderful value for money. I was amazed that the free cooked breakfast turned out to be a choice of 5 different breakfast combo's including the "Full English" this sets you up for the day ahead perfectly!
