Great location; liked that it was off the busy roads in Belfast Might be an idea to invest in eletronic room keys to avoid people forgetting the access numbers

I really enjoyed this hostel. The staff was super nice and the place was clean and comfortable. I really liked that they had a dinner option, it was nice to eat a cooked meal with cool people.

Very comfortable place, 5 min walking from the center. They provide you what to do and where to go in belfast, also, from this hostal there is a bus-tour to the giant causeway.

Lagan was great, between the free hot breakfast, cheap dinner, and fast free wifi that always worked, I haven't stayed at a better hostel. The people I met were great too. If I'm ever in Belfast again I will not be looking for a hostel, because I'll be staying at Lagan's

Seriously, this hostel is the best I've ever stayed in. The hot breakfast was really really good. It was a lot and it was HOT! What can you complain about? The atmosphere of the hostel was really nice. The host arranged dinner every night and you had a chance to meet other individual travelers during the dinner. I felt lucky to meet some of the best people in the world during my stay. Upon your arrival, the host will introduce the whole city sites for you, which was really nice too. Love it.

This has been one of my best hostel experiences! They offer communal dinners which are cheap, good and also a great way to meet other people in the hostel. They also have a common space which was great for relaxing and meeting others. The walls were a bit thin which was a problem for one of the nights because people came in really late and were loud but other then that it was not a problem. The staff were very helpful in giving advice about things to do in Belfast. I would recommend this place!

I booked for four people, at the last minute two of them bailed and the hostel charged for four people instead of two. I thought the decent thing would have been to meet us halfway under the circumstances. The hostel never even asked me how I was paying, they just took it from my account. Bad points for that! P.S. The breakfast is muck!!! A microwaved fry is never a good option!

Best hostel we ever stayed at. The staff were great, they help you with what to see and do in Belfast and also go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. Can´t say anything bad about the place.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, the staff were incredibly friendly, especially the owner William! My second night at the hostel William pulled out a bottle of whiskey & everyone in the hostel sat in the common room having a drink together & chatting, it's one of my favourite memories of northern Ireland & I'm incredibly grateful that I chose to stay at Lagan's backpackers! The hot breakfast was also fantastic & all the tourism & travel tips!

When I came to Belfast it was already dark and I had a serious problem to find a proper building. I must have walked past it at least 3 times before I finally found it.

the hostel was good, but our money got rubbed... so this is not the best experience that we had in belfast. the second thing was that we had booked a 4 beds room but we got one with 12 people in it.. this was very annoying but the rest was okay.!

Lagan Backpackers is the right place for those who prefer a rather small, cozy place with some individuality to the large kind of hostels that look the same in every major city. The house is perfectly clean and leaves nothing to ask for in terms of facilities and furnishings. The staff was very friendly and helpful; so we felt immediately at home. The icing on the cake is really the breakfast, which is included in the rent. All in all I strongly recommend this hostel!
