Very good. Nice staff and the best free breakfast I've got.

the hostel was good, but our money got rubbed... so this is not the best experience that we had in belfast. the second thing was that we had booked a 4 beds room but we got one with 12 people in it.. this was very annoying but the rest was okay.!

When I came to Belfast it was already dark and I had a serious problem to find a proper building. I must have walked past it at least 3 times before I finally found it.

It was good except others were really noisy at night.

Lagan Backpackers is the right place for those who prefer a rather small, cozy place with some individuality to the large kind of hostels that look the same in every major city. The house is perfectly clean and leaves nothing to ask for in terms of facilities and furnishings. The staff was very friendly and helpful; so we felt immediately at home. The icing on the cake is really the breakfast, which is included in the rent. All in all I strongly recommend this hostel!

Everything was fantastic! The staff were really friendly, the facilities were in great condition and there was a great atmosphere in the hostel. The only downside was that there were no plug sockets in the rooms to charge phones or for hair straighteners.

The head of the hostel very kindly gave me a bed in an empty room so I could have a good night's sleep before my job interview! He was very kind and helpful. I didn't stay in the hostel for very long because sadly I was only in Belfast for one night but the beds were comfy, the manager lovely and the facilities good. Very friendly. Thank you.

William made a terrific host, taking the time off to share his experience of cooking. Made us feel really at home. Makes a mean lamb stew!

I came to Lagan's just for one night and was hoping to use their laundry facilities.... which they advertise....but don't have. One of their bathrooms was not working the next one was on the next floor up. I would imagine just two bathrooms would be a problem were it busier!! The breakfast is only available 8-10 so because I was leaving at 7:30 they couldn't offer me anything. Another reason I chose Lagans.. but they didn't come through. Location is also not close to centre. Wouldn't reccomend.

I loved this place. The guy working the front desk was the friendliest hostel employee I've ever met. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, the shower worked well. I honestly can't think of one negative about this place. Highly recommended.

For 8 days this place became my home-real home, with family and my warm cozy bed. It's one of the few hostels where I've never encountered a single problem with showers-no waiting(yep, really lots of showers),the temperature is up to u,adjust it as u want. The staff-easy-going,ready to help(even with cooking) and join u in a pub or in watching a movie.Definitely a family atmosphere. Btw,u can choose the type of breakfast u want. When in Belfast-Lagan Backpackers! Best hostel I've stayed in.

Great hostel! The staff are really friendly and helpful, the place is lively but quiet when night, plenty of showers, and the location is ideal. I stayed in a private double room and it was great value for money - clean, warm, plenty of space. I'd happily go back there.

The sheets were stained on the beds, there were only 2 bathrooms that were always occupied or very wet when we wanted to use them.

The bathroom was disgusting, half of it didn't work. The bedroom wasn't clean, it looked like we were sleeping in someone else's sheets. The staff barely spoke english.

If you are only staying here for the free hot breakfast, don't bother. It is very minimal and won't fill you up for a day of exploring. Otherwise this is a good value for money hostel that offers a good place to stay a few nights in Belfast for.
