We were stuck here during the bus strike and the staff was really helpful and kind. The breakfast here is really good (home made bread and jam). The only thing that wasn´t that great were the beds and the traffic noise.

I liked the hostel, but the air freshener that blasted from the wall all day was disgusting. It left a sweet smell in my nostrils that lasted all day when I walked around the city .

We had an amazing stay here, the breakfast was really good. All of the staff were always willing to help. They have alot of movies avaible to watch on some comfortable leather sofas. Unfortunatly we had our small backpack stolen when we were passing back through mendoza, so just be careful and on your guard. Luckily for us the hostel really helped us out and let us stay around so we could use all of their facilities including their phone. We would have been stuck without them. Great place.

Nice little hostel close to the town center. Staff is very helpful and will help you with anything you want to know about Argentina. Most of the rooms have lockers that fit your whole backpack.

A wide set of activities offered from the hostel really made it easy to enjoy the region around mendoza. Staff has been helpful on that always. The rooms are quite good, just the kitchen is a bit undersized.

Had a good time at Lagares hostel. There could have been more power outlets in the dorms.

We shared a private room, and I was a little bummed that a "king size bed" was really just two twin beds pushed together. Uncomfortable sleeping situation... And the beds push apart really easily, so there is a black pit you can fall between in the middle of the night. I'm sure, though, the individual beds are awesome. The space is nice, and clean and the staff was incredibly friendly... No complaints there. If you are a couple looking for a private room, I would suggest another hostel.

Hi, thank you very much for complete the review!! You know thats its well explained in the description of the hostel that the double bed are two single beds push together, and most of our guest dont have any problem with that because you have a big bed and its really nice, however i understand if you have any problem and i am sorry it is was uncomfortable for you. I guess its your personal opinion but i am sure that this is a really good hostel for couples. Safe travels!! Javier

I staid at Lagares Hostel for 3 nights. This is a really great and cozy place. We had on Friday evening a great bbq with the owner, Javier. That was really nice. Really clean and the air condicioning is a good deal for the hot summer nights.

Excellent hostel. Well fitted out kitchen for cooking, new couches and large LCD tv, excellent air on in rooms, all new sheets/blankets/beds. Huge vertical lockers with supplied key, big enough for all your gear, very good bathroom:bed ratio. Very helpful staff with perfect English. Would recommend for anyone, except those looking for a really party oriented hostel, you would be better staying at a place more central like campo base

Everything is good for the price that I paid for save that if the kitchen could be more well equipped and cleaner, it would make a difference!
