Rooms could get a little cramped but it was okay with a window open. Never had to wait to use the shower or bathroom. Good breakfast, cereal, milk, bread. Big lockers in the dorm. Kind of far (20min walk) from city center. 10 min to supermarket. Really friendly staff!!!

Stayed in a private room. Room was okay. It exits onto the veranda where people smoke. As a result, slight issue is that there is bit of tobacco smell in the room and you can hear people talking. Wasn't a major issue for us. Kitchen is okay. Bit small comparing to other hostels we stayed in. But it does the job. The only thing we didn't like is the location. Bit of a hike to the centre. The street is also quite dark, so at night it was a bit uncomfortable walking around.

Aleksandar thank you for taking your time giving us this feedback. While we are not in front of the main square 2 blocks from the main avenue where downtown begins I do not think it's that bad. Besides I can assure you it is much more dangerous to be in the main center tahn here, in 10 years we have never had a single episode of insecurity, sometimes looks can be deceiving. Safe Travels!

Lagares Hostel is a very nice hostel to stay because they have very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast is also very nice. The rooms are spacious with very big lockers. You can even put your big backpacks in the locker which is very good. There have also enough bathrooms. So you don't need to wait to long for a bathroom if you need it. The hostel is also very convinient located. It's just a few minutes walk to the main street. If I return to Mendoza I would stay at Lagares again. Sure!!

Really great hostel - made especially so by Javier the owner. He clearly takes pride in his hostel and enjoys his work, making everyone feel welcome. Dorms, kitchen and bathrooms were all very good - including plugs next to every bed and the best home made jam known to man for breakfast each morning! Definitely go here, even if it's 10 mins or so walk from the main square in town - it's worth it.

Javier is so friendly, he remebered the names from every single traveller. Lovley breakfast with homemade bread and cake. Clean hostel. Except javer, the reception staff was a bit bored.

Such accommodating staff. Super helpful and friendly. The decor isn't perhaps as warm as some other hostels but it is so clean and easy to just live here I extended at least twice! Very fast WiFi and drinks available to buy makes it really easy to have an impromptu session with other guests. I'd go back to this hostel anytime! Thanks for a great stay!

Nice little hostel with really good atmosphere! Had contact with almost everyone in the hostel, that does not happen in every hostel. And Chavier is really helpful to make sure you have a nice stay and excursions!

Private room had nice strong aircon - a bonus in Mendoza. Lots of showers... Never had to wait. And they were hot, powerful and pretty clean. Nice common area. Lots of international travellers. So easy to meet people. Nice hostel. Only downside - very basic breakfast. But that seems standard in Argenina.

Javier and his team were great during my 3 night stay in Mendoza. I got off the bus early in the morning around 7am and showed up at the hostel, with my early arrival being no problem. They even went out of their way to make our rooms for us early because they knew many of us early arrivers were exhausted. Javier takes the time to know your name and gives great recommendations for what parts of the city to hit and tours you should go on.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of advice on offer. Clean dorms, big lockers. Air con was rubbish in our room. A bit of a walk from the bus station and city centre but still a nice little hostel.
