Exellent hostel ! The staff is extremely helpfull with all matters and know everything there is to know about Mendoza. The hostel is clean and the rooms are nice - we stayed in a double, so we don´t know about the dorms, but our room was big, clean, with a good bed, tv (with cable), air-con (working) and quiet in the night. Definately good value, we ended up staying 4 more nights than planned. Offers several tours and the prices are the same or maybe a bit cheaper than agencies in town !

More than a good hostel, with a really good homemade breakfast and perfectly clean rooms and bathroom, Lagares is enough small and enough big to be a friendly place to stay in. The team is very very friendly and always helpful, the kitchen is very convenient and wide, hot water everytime, barbecues on friday really delicious, open spaces cumfortables... really a must in all country ! Thanks all !

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel, located in a quiet, secure area, but still close enough to the centre. Staff always friendly and helpful, hostel kept very clean. Would certainly come back next time I'm in Mendoza. Many thanks Fabricio and Javier!

Very very nice hostel, one of the best I have stayed in the last two months, in fact. The staff are extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful. A mus at this hostel is the BBQ every Thursday or Friday, Javier knows his way around an Asado!! Definately recommend this hostel if your pasing through Mendoza.

The front downstairs bedroom is very loud due to the road. We complained and were move to a room away from the road, the manager also gave us a bottle of wine to apologize for the lack of sleep we got. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there's a great collection of dvd's for those wanting to chill.

This was my first time staying in a hostel and the experience could not have been better! I absolutely loved Lagares and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Mendoza. If you're there on a Thursday, definitely go to the parilla. It was great food and a fun way to get to know people from all over the world. The kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas were always nice and clean. The staff was amazing as well! They were incredibly friendly and always helpful.

We had a great time at the bar b q. It helped us settle in and meet most of the staff and the other guest of the hostel. The staff were more than happy to answer any questions and were by far the friendliest we met so far on our trip.

A great value hostel. For the cheap price, it is clean, very attractive, spacious, comfortable, and has very friendly and helpful staff. We extended our stay here for 5 days we liked it so much. While not a "party hostel", the common room is a good hangout spot to watch one of the hostel´s hundreds of movies on collection (in english!). The place isn´t too wild, but not too boring either. A downside is that it is quite a distance from the hotspots in Mendoza.

We had a great stay in hostal Lagares. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are clean. The people who work there are verry friendly, and all speak good english. the location is not really inside the center but it is in walking distance from the main street. and the bus stop to bus station and winearea is less then 5 minute walking. The hostel has verry good kitchen and good tv room and a great selections of movies. Only thing what good have been better are the beds.
