Great staff and very nice hostel. Free bikes for a wine tour through Mr Hugos was brilliant.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. We felt very much at home. The hostel was spotless and they serve good breakfast & great coffee. A nice place to stay. Thanks!

Highly recommend this hostel! Fabricio was so kind and welcoming to us when we arrived, and him, Javier and Damien were so friendly and full of information throughout our stay. Definitely stay 3 nights and take advantage of the Mr Hugo's tour - we had a blast!

fabulous, friendly, helpful staff & clean, well-maintained hostel with comfortable common areas. hot showers with firm water pressure. great wifi connection in our private room (first floor) and cable tv as well. short walk (about 10 minutes to plaza independencia). definitely a good place for long term backpackers. we stayed here 3 nights and got a deal with mr. hugo's bikes through the hostel! we moved to a different hostel to meet up with some friends in town and regretted it immediately!

Great hostel to chill out in, but not a party hostel if that's what you are looking for. Staff were very helpful with directions and excursions, great deal of if you stay 3 nights you get a free bike for the bike and wine tour! Nice terrace with BBQ, amazing selection of DVDs to choose from!

Lagares Hostel is a very good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you breakfast for free and they don't charge you for the use of wifi. They have onecomputer in the common area and a TV with DVDs in case you want to stay in. They also have tours to different excursions. I would recommend this place as I had a very good time here. Good location. Helpful with tours. Happy Staff. Reasonably quiet in the hostel but road noise can be fixed with ear plugs. I missed out on a couple of showers. Some people had nice long ones...Night time is best for one. Breakfast was fine.Great kitchen to cook. THE CLEANER LADY!!!!!!!!!! What can I say she/they did an amazing job. Always behind us making sure everything was perfect. Im not sure there was an hour where I did not see a lady doing her job : ). Refreshments sold on site.

The hostel overall was very good - the staff were very helpful all the time. Kitchen was one of the best I have seen in a hostel. My only complaints are 1) the noise at night, our room was downstairs and next to the street so from about 5am it was very noisy. 2) The breakfast - it only runs until 10am and it was very poor in comparison to other hostels The hostel was very warm (which I loved) and was great value for money.
