A great place for meeting people, good parties and nice beaches. Florianópolis is not so expensive if you want to rent a surfboard, sandboard or eat shrimps or seafood. Good location and breakfast, majority of the staff were awesome. Surf boards need some attention so if you're more than a beginner dont let this be your deciding factor, but you cant rent from many places near the beach. Bikes were a great way to explore the island. I would stay here again.Good location and breakfast, majority of the staff were awesome. I spent 5 nights at Lagoa and couldn't have enjoyed my stay more. I hadn't stayed in a hostel in about 5 years and was hesitant at first. But they made me feel like part of a big, fun family.
