Hostel was amazing. All of the staff were so helpful, they organised nights out for us and things for us to do during the day (e.g. white water rafting which was savage). Location is great.. right beside supermarket, atms and within walking distance from bars and clubs :) Breakfast every morning was delicious! Would definitely go back and stay here again.

i wish i could of stayed here longer, the staff really made an effort to make my time here the best it could be. they took us on a day trip to the north of the island, gave us discounts for night clubs and bars, and they took us on a personalised boat trip around the island to places only accessable by boat!! besides this, being a minute walk from the main bus terminal made access to the whole of florianopolis very easy and convenient. i'l definately be staying here when i come back to party!!

I thought that Lagoa hostel was great. It's a big house, with plenty of room to hang out, and a pool table which is nice. The staff were sensational, always offering advice, and organising activities for everyone. Also, it is in the perfect location in the middle of town close to bars, restaurants and supermarket as well as buses to the beaches.

Excellent staff, extremely helpful! They made the experience fantastic! Location and hostel conditions are also fantastic. A must in Lagoa!!

I loved my stay in Lagoa. Thank goodness I'm living quite close even now so I can continue to go back and visit (watch out, guys). The rooms and the bathrooms were kept spotless, the communal area was well appointed and pretty chill, and the drinks were strong and cheap. I made a rap with the manager and two guys from Holland- ask Sergio to listen. Pretty random and cool hostel experience. Seriously though, don't forget to put on your sunscreen. You'll be pretty fudido if you don't.

We loved everything about lagoa hostel, the staff was the best! it was very many activites arrenged by the staff and many acitivites inside the hostel. We booked a ten dorm room but got a six dorm room for the same price!

I stayed at the Logoa Hostel for a week and it was fabulous!!! The staff is super friendly and willing to help you with anything, even getting deals at local venues for various activities. The location is perfect; in walking distance of the bus station, the grocery, and local bars downtown. Plus there are lots of amenities such as a pool table, movie room, video games, access to a fully equipped kitchen, and internet in the hostel itself. I've stayed in many hostels and this was on of the best!

It's a very neat hostel, with nice features like the pool, nice tv room, jacuzzi, and rides to the beach by the morning with Juan, who seems to really enjoy driving the van hahaha. Even being very well organized and enforcing it (sergio xarope), they try to flex with the times and rules to help when u need. Its nice too when u cant sleep to have the company of pablo whos always painting something overnight. Rafa and Lena are very good people too, gonna miss them. Abraços a todos! Esper voltr log

A great hostel for anyone- good party atmosphere up until lights-out at midnight, so then good for sleep to be ready for the beach in the morning. The staff is super friendly and can help you with any recommendations. Beach bus available to see more of the island easily. I'd stay longer if I had the chance.

The hostel is in an excellent location next to everything you need or dont need. The staff was extremely helpful when I needed some suggestions on what to do and where I should go with the time that I had. Great hot showers and the breakfast was HUGE!!!!!!

Best staff ever! We went out all together! They were always ready to help! The location is perfect! Next to the bus station and the bars! I would definitely recommend Lagoa Hostel!

The staff at this hostel (Sergio) are so friendly and helpful. They really made our stay great. They gave us tips each day as to what to do and where the best parties would be. We had a fab time! Highly recommended.

Raphael was the nicest guy and so helpfull, Sergio was very nice too.

The staff was really nice. The location is good. Close to the night action but a little far away from the best beaches. Just one advice: It should be mandatory to leave the rooms for a couple of hours. I had a guy in my dorm that didn't leave it. Result... the room was not cleaned. Plus, you should put a bigger lockers for backpacks.

Good hostel. Althou we stayed in a private room for a few nights and for the price towels should have been included but these were additional cost. Staff were really friendly. There is a bar in the hostel too.
