The staff were helpful, and the kitchen and lounge areas are decent. Great value for money. Showers are a little average though, but everything is generally good.

Lagos is a spacious hostel in a graceful courtyard building. Large clean kitchen has plenty of fridge space. An enclosed patio provides a charming outdoor dining area with separate tables. The hostel's close proximity to surfing shops and beaches is ideal for surfers. Plenty of storage for bikes and hikers equipment also. For winter visitors there is a large wood-burning fireplace, efficient and free wi-fi, and an interesting shelf of books for readers. A good place to stay in any season.

Very unfriendly staff who worked during the night shift. The place was also extremely quiet even though I met some Americans staying at the hostel next door called Shangi Lagos which seemed to be packed. Anyway, I stayed here 6 years ago hoping that it would be the same atmosphere but it has changed a lot. The price was good but it seemed that we were the only people between 20-25 as the few other groups were families. Twin room is probably the best value if you stay here. I will not recommend

The hostel was fine...a bit drab and the night staff wasnt super welcoming. We had a double ensuite with a tv so value for money was decent. We were also there in the off season so it qasnt very exciting anyway.
