The place needs some TLC, but ok for one night considering the hotel prices in Maui.

Room wasnt clean. Bathroom was dirty and old. For the money (112$ per room in private) it is not worth it. It is better to go to real hotel, at least you will not worrie about walking barefoot.

The hostel has a great location in Lahaina. The kitchen could need some more kitchen utensils, but that would be the only negative. It was a pleasure to stay at the Lahaina's Last Resort

Great place, would definitely go back again! its really laid back and chill so probably not so great for partyers who are looking to stay up all night and meet people, but as a place to sleep and base out of, its wonderful, clean, the staff know the area and the deals in an otherwise resort town. no lockers for your stuff in the dorm rooms so take your valuables with you - that said i didnt have a problem.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Joe was exceptionally hospitable and helpful. Location was conveniently located near Maui Grown Coffee and a few blocks from the center of town. The showers were nice and hot which is always a plus. I would absolutely stay again.

This place is OK--a little unorganized but I liked the location, very close to the main Lahaina stretch. I would stay here again.

Employees were helpful, the hostel was safe and the bedrooms & toilets were clean. Some maintenance is required in the exterior and showers, but everything was acceptable. Overall, I would stay here again, but compared to hostels in other places (Europe, Seattle which may be unfair because of the cost of living in Hawaii) this hostel was an expensive hostel, with average facilities.

Great hostel for the money! Joe is SPECTACULAR!!! It was a pleasure meeting him. He showed us the ropes and provided EXCELLENT recommendations. GREAT guy! Only negative thing I can say is that the bed was a little hard, but I'll live and would definitely return! THANKS JOE!!!

I really enjoyed the location and it was quiet enough to get some good sleep and and fairly clean shower and bathroom so that was all good! I will be back, I thought it was a great value.

Great location, manager is very helpful. Kitchen is outside which is a little strange however all in all we had a great stay. Only thing I have to say is that it's too bad that we get kicked out of the common area at 10pm. It would great to stay around and have a drink with the others staying at the hostel especially since there is not much going on in Lahaina after 10pm.

as asked for i am saying what i missed: cutlery, proper cooking utensils, something like a kitchen and a bigger fridge, or at least access to the fridge at the office all times. please repair the shower and replace the lightbulb in dorm no. 5. its very dark and hard to find anything in the backpack. and just generally we think the people were pretty weird. 2 people got kicked out during the 3 nights we were there.
