No actual staff was there though a friend of the owner lives there for now and helps out a bit like advising what to see in the area. There is only one shower head available during my staying, the upper floor shower is not functioning, therefore create a massive queue of people in the morning waiting for shower. Other than that, it was worth while to stay as everything is about self-service.. Location was good in that it is close to the train station, but probably wouldn't stay here again. The matresses really old, you can feel the springs, and the whole set up of not having any staff doesn't give the hostel a very good feel of security, especially as a lone female traveller.Location was good in that it is close to the train station, but probably wouldn't stay here again. Very very good location, just 25 minute walk to reach the most beautiful lake, Windermere. Just feel a bit annoyed as the heater is not working in dorm, so it's quite cold for me.Very very good location, just 25 minute walk to reach the most beautiful lake, Windermere.
