Lakeside Inn Reviews

We stayed here for one night after a week visiting Xingping and Longsheng. The facilities were excellent and it was nice to have a hot shower with good water pressure. Room was clean with ample towels and we had a comfortable sleep. The food was excellent and the menu had a wide variety of things to choose from. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged our airport transfer which arrived promptly and ended up being cheaper than quoted. Overall, a great stay. Recommended.

Thank you Jack, the owner, and beautiful Lucy, staff member, for sharing a meal with me. If either of you come to Canada please look me up. The only suggestion for your hostel is to have menus put on the table in the morning before your guests get up. I didn't realize you served bacon and egg breakfast until the last day. Or have your staff mention to this at check-in (e.g. we serve bacon and eggs until 11 AM or whatever it might be). This would have saved me two trips to McDonalds.

Excelent hostel!

Excellentt location. Beautiful Rooms. No view from windows. Pizza too expensive.

I have nothing much adverse to comment on this hotel except that with the placement of the bed in the room, it is difficult for the second guest to get on and off the bed without disturbing his/her companion as there is just not enough walking space to get on/off the bed. Otherwise, great location and easy accessibility to some must-see places of interest.

Very nice, clean and safe place to stay in guilin. The staff is really friendly and help you with every problem you have. Definitely a good place to stay!
