Stayed in the female dorm, nice and quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere. Walking distance to wat pho and royal palace. Very recommendable!

The place has a great location, even though it was a kind of difficult to find it in the first night, but in the next morning I could understand where I was, and the location is good because it's close to the Kao San street, but it's still a quiet place. The staff are great, specially Mimi, and the breakfast is really good. The dorm are small, but really clean and the bathroom are the same. I enjoyed my time there.

A really nice and charming Hostel. Near Kaosan Road, but still aquiet place. I can recommend it!

Cool place and very nice room. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was very nice. Free breakfast in the morning is a bonus - nothing fancy but does the trick. About a half block away from Khao Son rd so you can get your fix without being right on top of it. Only negative was that the mattress was very firm. I like a firm mattress but it was semi uncomfortable causing you to turn a few times a night. Not a deal breaker but would really make the hostel top notch if it was a tad bit more comfy.

A very cosy place in a very busy area. The staff really helpful and the price is very good for what you get. Good meals and small breakfasts are served. Definitely coming back here when again in Bangkok. Bring your own padlock.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location next to khaosan road but still relatively quiet for sleeping. Clean and tidy, beautiful. All the bathrooms are shared but quite clean. We think is a very good option in that area. The breakfast is ok.

Fantastic place! Very friendly staff, clean facilities, close to ko San road but not too noisy. They let you check in early if a bed is available. Met some lovely people here as well!

Nice traditional guesthouse, very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Very close to kao san road but away from the hustle and bustle, which is perfect after a busy day in Bangkok. Air con was amazing and the free breakfasts were really good too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The guesthouse is very clean and the dorm beds very comfortable! Great value for money as breakfast is included and you get a bottle of water every day on your bed. The location is great too, very close to Khaosan but still in a quiet area.

I had a great stay here! The staff are lovely and attentive and the girl working on reception is especially nice. As soon as I walked in there were some tables and chairs with a few other travelers, so I met people straight away. The food was delicious too! I stayed in the dorm with the air con and totally recommend. I heard the other dorm was really hot. Just a tip... it's tricky to find! It's in a small alley behind Khao San Rd, on the opposite side of Rambutri. Blink and you'll miss it!

Best hostel in Bangkok. The staff were amazingly friendly. The hostel it's self was a bright wooden building with slighting doors, very nice vibe. The location was perfect, just tucked away from the night life. Oh and free breakfast served with this amazing red juice! I miss this hostel!

The room is pretty hot. Besides that, the hostel is calm and comfortable.

The room was small for 4 people, but the beds were decent. The staff were very kind and helpful. The ad said there was A/C, but our room only had fans blowing on us. This was fine in the end. There may be other rooms with A/C but we did not get one. Otherwise, very nice stay!

It was very pleasant to stay at Laksameenarai. Nice location nearby Khaosan road and close to the bus station. 15 min to the Siam Paragon on bus. 10 min of walking to the Chaophraya river. 10 min of walking to 3 main palaces Wat Phra Keo, Wat Pho, Wat mahathat. And Wat Arun on the opposite side of the river.

Probably one of the best places to stay in Bangkok!!! It is close to Kaosan Road, but hidden and quite. The overall feeling is safe and very welcoming. Directly attached are the 2 beat places to eat in the inner city: Ranees and Smiths Bar. Absolutely amazing. 390 thb include AC and a bottle of water a day as well as breakfast and coffee or tea. Highly recommended. Special: we arrived in the early morning via bus from the South and we were directly offered to take a shower and coffee for free!
