We had a nice stay but maybe a bit expensive for what you get. Great location, near Koasan road (2 min walk) but very quiet hostel at night so that's good. The saff was nice but not very helpul. Nice breakfast.

pros: location, value, good A/C, hot showers, decent breakfast. cons: No real atmosphere or socialising. Slight street noise at night. Overall a very good place to stay.

I absolutely loved my time at Laksameenarai Guesthouse! It was very calm but also incredibly close to so many fun things! Walking distance to Khao San Road, the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, the Flower Market, Chinatown, and everything in between. The family was very kind and accommodating, and the food is EXCELLENT - actual breakfast is provided, as well as the food you can purchase throughout the rest of the day. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a quiet place to meet others.

Overall great for those looking to be by khao San road! Not that noisy but just two min walk. Good bed and shower, many cats in common area and entrance is off of a hidden street/alley that is very dark.

Just a few steps from khao San road and you can still hear the music late into the night so make sure you have some earplugs. The place could use a paint job and the staff could use a smile every now and again. The hostel has all the facilities and connections to activities so that's really all I was asking for.

Nice people working there and a great room, right off the main backpacker area. Not a lot of chance to meet other people but it was otherwise perfect!
