Great relaxed environment. Very short walk to Khao San yet set back enough that it's quiet.

Nice location, helpful staff. It's a quiet place but it's still easy to meet with others and party up at Khosan road literally around the block. The included breakfast (eggs/sausages/beans) was good to start the day.

The hostel was great. staff were very helpful. Location was great, the noise pollution was minimal considering how close to koasan road it is.

Great location-- ten minute walk from Royal Palace, two minute walk from Khaosan Road, but still quiet, atmospheric and relaxing. Very nice staff and beautiful rooms. Great stay!

Lovely hostel just off Koah san road. Close enough to all the fun, far away enough so you can have a good night sleep. Deliciouse free breakfast (take the muesli!), clean and airconned room, free bottle of water every night. Sweet staff, don't speak great english though. Oh and the directions are very vague, so here you go: Facing Koah San road go right, turn left into a little alley way after boots&7/11, keep going straight. If you can't find it you probstarted at the other side KS road.

The staff is amazing and the hostel is well located, tidy and really nice. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean and cool. The breakfast and food in general is really god. If I'll have the possibility to go back in bk I'll come back :)

Wonderful breakfast, great location - close to Khao san but away from all the noise! Clean, nice environment, everything you need.

We stayed in a double in an annex to the building. The small room was very nice, but of the modern type. It was spotlessly clean however and the staff were very friendly throughout, making a nice, simple breakfast or helping with plans for the day. The location is great: you have the convenience of Khao San Rd. without being too close... So 100%, except ... a slight markdown for security, as rooms could not be locked from the inside and the safe which was not actually attached to anything.

Amazing place! Nice owners and great value for money! Easy to meet people and just far enough removed from Khaosan Road to be quiet. Good breakfast and overall great atmosphere! Would definitely go again

Nice guesthouse/hostel on a quiet street next to khao san road, 4 bed mixed dorm is a bit small but is air conditioned and secure, private room was lush with a smart tv in the room and a good size. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Enjoyed our stay here, Thanks :)

Lovely, easy to get to hostel! Basic but clean and cute! Very close to Khaosan Road but you can't hear any of the street noise which is great! The front gate was locked at 8pm and our room had a safe in it so felt everything was pretty safe and secure. We didn't see the staff very often but when we did, they were polite and helpful when booking us a transfer to the airport after our stay! Enjoyed our 2 nights staying there and would stay again!

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Laksameenarai. Owners are really helpful and were very welcoming when we first arrived. The room is lovely with air con, tv and complimentary water everyday. Excellent city centre location, on quirky street, right next to Khoa San Road. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and walking distance to Grand Palace.

The owners are very friendly. Breakfast is good. A nice experience to stay in the traditional Thai style house. The only thing that I don't like so much is the mosquitos, but I guess that's the way it is. If something can be done for this, it'll be perfect. And one tiny thing. When I was staying in my room, the staff came in to clean the bed for a guest who checked out. I'm not sure if it's because she didn't want to wake me up, so she just folded the quilt and left. Hope the sheets

Rooms and bathrooms nice and clean, helpfull staff, breakfast included in the price, perfect location to have a drink at night in Kao San Road or to visit the Grand Palace or to take the boat... Tthe only negative point is the outdoor space which could be cosier. I recomand this guesthouse ! May 2015

This place was nice. A little hard to find, had to ask a few people. The staff was very kind to us. The included breakfast was very nice, and had a good amount of options. The beds and bathroom were very clean and the AC worked great! It's near Kao San Road not on it, so you don't have to hear people yelling while you're sleeping.
