Bondi beach is a difficult part of Sydney to get to and there are many other hostels in Bondi closer to the beach. There is no real common room and there were cockroaches in my room every night. The bathrooms and showers were quite clean though.

Great location, nice room. The staff were unwelcoming but reasonable. Room was clean, communal bathroom was not.

Would recommend as a good place to sleep and explore, not so much to socialize as there is not much of a common area (just a smoking area outside) Hostel is cleaned daily which is nice. The staff are all very friendly.

Need better, kinder staff and cleaner bathrooms. Bedrooms smell weird and groud floor bedrooms are not safe

Great location (a block from Bondi Beach), but extremely small and crowded conditions and no social vibe. It is privately run, so there is no backpacker social life. Although all rooms have a TV, they don't have lockers and are extremely cramped and hot (there was a fan). There are private bathrooms, and decent laundry facilities. Wifi is offered for purchase, but at a ridiculous price for the amount of data offered. Kitchen is small, but not many people were staying there when I was there.

A great location, so close to Bondi beach. Was great for what we wanted and would stay here again. Rooms were a little hot but nothing too unbearable. Toilets and showers were always clean!

Bed wasn't that conformable as the mattress was very thin. Great location as it is right near the beach and shops. In a quiet street. Had to pay deposits for cutlery and the kitchen was quite minimal. Fridge in you room which is good and TV. Toilets are in with the showers so you have to wait a while to use one.

The only thing I did like about this hostel was its location close to Bondi beach. They gave me a different room than I had requested (4bed female to a 3 bed male?) I was also on a top bunk with no ladder so I had to use a flimsy stool to get into bed. There was no where to lock personal items, i just had to trust my roomates, which is hard when the hostel doesn't have an atmosphere that allows you to easily meet people. The worst part was the red (possibly bed bugs) on the ceiling above my bed.

Booked this hostel over the Christmas period. Was such a disappointment. There was no atmosphere in the hostel and the staff seemed to have no interest in it's guests. You can't drink anywhere in the hostel! We weren't allowed even a glass with our Christmas dinner!! I would only recommend this hostel for short stay if you want to be near the beach but don't expect it to be a party hostel, it's far from.
