When we arrived the staff was very unfriendly. The room we had smelled like someone had smoked in it even if there were signs saying that smoking is forbidden. You could here the people in the other room talking etc. and the bathrooms were tiny. There weren't any dishes provided in the kitchen and we had 3 huge cockroaches in our room. The staff told us that this is normal. They didn't help us at all. Instead they only gave us some spray. We decided to leave the hostel 2 days earlier!!

A nice place to stay. The two Ukranian Ladies at the office were very helpful. Just ask nicely and they will help you with any advice or extras. I will for sure stay there again. Sydney is very expensive, so expect to pay a lot here.

It is an ok Hostel, nice location and nice rooms but bathrooms are quite bad and it doesn't really have any atmosphere. Not a bad place to stay for a quick stop off though

security was bad. I forgot my key in my room and the guy working just handed me a key to my room without asking for id or nothing...

Old, bad bed with really thin mattress, tiny communal kitchen (mind your head!) and kitchenette in room more than basic (small fridge, stinky sink and weird microwave) Russian-hold hostel, big staff so its seems but wonder what they are doing for it! Really poor value for money 20$ key deposit + 15$ deposit per cutlery/plate set per person

This hostel was not clean. It is very closed to the Bondi beach. Except that, I don't want to recommend this lodge.

The hostel is an amazing location, literally 2 mins from the beach. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Fridge in your room which is helpful. However, there was not much communal space, which was a shame as we were there over Christmas. There are signs everywhere saying no drinking and that was a bit of a problem for Christmas when you cant drink on the beach either. It is not really a sociable hostel but if your not to bothered about this i would recommend.
