it is a good landhaus, the thing i liked most is how they split a 6 dorm into 3 2p minirooms. definately a recommend!
Trying to enter the hostel and figuring out where to check in was confusing but it was a very nice and clean hostel. Very private rooms, so if traveling alone may not be the best option if you want to meet people.
Excellent hostel...totally exceedes my expectations. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm...bunk beds were kind of divided so it was actually really private. Right on a beautiful river. Such a nice place to stay!

Great hostel located right next to old town Bern. The 6 person room was split into 3 individual rooms with a bunk bed so it felt like having your own room. Clean facilities and good wifi. No complaints.
Very cozy hotel located in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to the train station (10 min). Rooms are quiet and clean, with a big window letting in some fresh air and lots of sunlight. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. All shared facilities are very clean. Breakfast is decent, dinning room is nice. The only complain I would have is they only offer 1 hour free internet, upon that is 1 Fr / hr, which was not that bad. It is definitely a comfortable convenient place to stay.
The best thing about this hostel is that it divides one room into three small sections so each can have some privacy. Six to share the bathroom, toilet and a washing basin. Thus, no need to wait long for your turn. The shower is the best i've encountered in Europe, with more space and easier adjustment of water volume and temperature. The hostel was not within 15 minute walking distance with a luggage. Kitchen is a little too dark.
This hotel was nothing special. It was nice to be near the center of Bern, but the rooms were sort of strange. The section of the building I was in looked out directly over the sidewalk and street, and people could see everything in the room (including me) if the curtain was open. The doors to the rooms didn't lock unless you were inside, so you had to lock your valuables in a closet (but that's somewhat typical of hostels anyways). The staff were fine, I really only saw them twice.
I spent one night in Berne last weekend on a short solo trip to Switzerland. I reserved a room in a "6-bed female dorm" but when I arrived, it turned out that the 6 beds were actually divided up into three separate cubicle-type rooms, which was nice. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, the hostel was in a safe, quiet area, the rooms were spotless, there was a large locker in the room which was convenient, and the other travelers were nice. I really enjoyed my stay here, would recommend!
Very nice stay, the dorms had a lot of privacy and good value for the price, close to old town.
beautiful hotel with dormitory option - though I would rather call it first class dormitories, seperated ares for each bunk bed, so almost hotel privacy, a beautiful shared kitchen and a hotel style restaurant in one of the most beautiful areas of Bern next to the river.
Clean, friendly staff and nice room set-up. Very convenient location, close to everything
