Had a great time here. Matt and the team are helpful if you're looking for work or just chilling for a few weeks as a stop over/ break for party hostels.. There is a knack to perfecting the showers - maximum hot and a nudge of cold! Challenge - get Toby the cat to become your friend.

It's a very nice house. The owner Matt is super serious about the cleanliness, which is awesome. Most people are open minded which makes a great atmosphere. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen has just one place to cook but somehow it always works out without waiting. Plus Domino's is around the corner. Everyday planned activitiesy are great. Definitely an awesome place to make yourself a home!

Pretty in love with this place. Easy going vibe with both the staff and my fellow backpackers. The hostel is clean and thoughtfully put together. This is the kind of place you can sip on some tea and watch a movie in the living room or pick an activity posted on the event board. Couldn't ask for a better location. The hostel is just two minutes from the tram/bus stop and surrounded by a large variety of cafes, restaurants and bars. Thanks Matt for being an awesome house captain!

I stayed for about 3 weeks in this nice victorian townhouse. It is a great hostel if you're gonna settle down for a while in Melbourne, start uni or find yourself a job. The "House captain" will set up job seeker tutorials and other fun stuff each day if you are interested. There is great opportunity to cook your own food and theres always some people to watch a movie with in the livingroom. And both rooms and bathrooms are above average hostel standards and always clean.

Great atmosphere, If you are looking for work or looking to meet fellow travelers its an awesome place to stay. A great area, close to a tram stop and 10 min tram ride to the city. From hostel BBQ's or nights out there is always something to do on the event board. The staff and the fellow backpackers are super friendly so you can either relax and watch a movie or have a great conversation with anyone.

If you are in Melbourne to find work, this is the place for you. More of a house than a hostel leading to really friendly atmosphere with everybody getting tonknow each other. Matt, the owner, is a really sound bloke. He is really knowledgeable about the jobs market and more than willing to give you as much advice and help as possible in order to land that paycheck! ... Stayed there for a week and a half- couldn't recommend it enough!

Staying at Landing Pads feels more like staying in a house than in a hostel. Because of the 7 night minimum everybody gets to know each other, which is nice. Matt will help you get started with all the necessary stuff: taxes, RSA etc. Its a cool place

Landing Pads is a fantastic place to start your stay in Australia. More of a share house than your typical hostel, LPs is full of people looking for work, or already employed. The owner of the hostel, Matt, is a top guy who is always willing to help with the job hunt or trips around town and Victoria. Events are organized for everyday of the week so you can join at your leisure and get to know your housemates a bit better. LP is a very easy place to make great friends and start your job search.
