New hostel at the party mile of Zurich with free breakfast and concerts in the hostel-bar.
We offer 52 beds at the famous Langstrasse. The hostel has seven dorms and a cool cafe-bar on the ground-floor for a moderate price.
The Langstrasse is famous for the variety of people, the trendy night-life with concerts and culture. Last but not least it used to be the cheapest district of Zurich, but it's becoming more expensive... There is still prostitution and drug-dealing in this area, but for travellers it's safe - even at night!
Don't expect any luxury for this price: be aware that you book the cheapest bed in central Zurich! Toilets and showers are shared with 12 people, so expect that you have to wait at rush hours! If you are used to stay in cheap dorms, you will appreciate the very cool atmosphere of the place with concerts on weekends and the possibility to have a great night at the bar and meet many people.
After 10pm is quite-time in the dorms (still noisy on weekends for the people on the street), for this checked-in guests get a free beer or soft drink at the hostel bar which offers an interesting view of the Langstrasse with its diversity of people.

We were not satisfied with this hostel at all. I felt that the reviews on hostelworld were misleading. We were aware that this hostel was in the red light district however, it was in a worse area than expected. We were unable to leave the hostel after 7pm without feeling unsafe. Also, one bathroom 12 people was awful. Never hot water and the bathroom itself was gross and was never clean.
