A super sketchy neighbourhood. Not a good place for solo travellers, however if your looking to party this is a good place. Breakfast was good and you get a chocolate upon arrival.

There are very good things and bad things about this hostel. They offer lockers for you to store your luggage after check out, during your stay you'll have a locker for yourself, I had even a socket inside the locker so that I could safely charge my electronicals. There were many rules though. And I didn't like my bed and bed linen. They have a nice bar which is always crowded with live music on everyday and good deals for beer and even a free drink every night for guests.

Nice bar downstairs! Great location, but not a lot of character outside of the public bar.

Great place! A bit of a hike from the train station, but they have a really great bar and the staff were awesome. The part of town is not actually the red light district as some people have said, but it definitely has "character."

Ddepite the bit bustle surroundings which I personally dislike, the hostel is nice with friendly staff, delicious breakfast.

Very friendly staff but expensive as with all of Switzerland. Location isnt ideal and 12 people to 1 bathroom is a push. Unfortunately not many other options in Zurich.

Excellent staff, they helped me sort everything out with the police to park my car in the area. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. They supplied free towels if needed. Common room in my floor, which was nice. Lots of things going on at night at the hostel bar, like improvised jams and stuff. It is located in a 15 min. walk to old town Zurich, the area may be shocking at first, since it is the red light district, but you have nothing to fear, on the contrary, it can be interesting at night.

Solid hostel above a good bar. Check in is at the bar itself and the staff is very nice. The bar hosts live music every weekend and is just an awesome place to chill out. This place is on Langstrasse which is the red light district of Zurich. Some might hate that but I thought it was fun. Saw all sorts of strange things on that street. The hostel is within walking distance to most the attractions in the city. Only real gripe with this place is it's lack of showers and toilets.

The bar downstairs has some great bands playing. But if you've had a big day and head to bed at 11pm be prepared to be kept up by the loud music and cheers.

This was by far the most strange place I ever stayed. The hostel itself is good (not considering the dingy bar downstairs) and it is clear that they are improving the place. My issue was the location, which is in an odd neighbourhood, even though it is pretty close to the station, and people, who were not like the ones you may find commonly in hostels (there was a guy walking naked during the night one day). At the last day I had to be locked inside the dorm due to my early check-out (bad!).

It is a bit far from the city (although it is still within walking distance) but quite near the train station. One free drink each night of staying. Free simple breakfast in the morning. Good WiFi connection (Free). A big locker for each bed. But only one toilet/bathroom each floor (a bit of a problem), and the hot water runs out quickly. Friendly staff and environment. A great place to relax, enjoy and meet friends around the world.

It was not a good place to stay in general: (dirty toilets, bad area, expensive). But anything in special annoyed me.

Great little spot for sure! Right in all the night life action so if you don't mind a good party and it being loud at night, this is the spot! If you are tryin to go to bed early, youll be able to hear the music from downstairs, but i thought it was a blast cuz I wanted to stay up late and take in the city! Zurich is a super safe city so I never felt worried at all. Expensive tho, so be prepared but this hostel is a good deal considering! The downstairs bar/cafe was extremely charming and fun!

The staff is very friendly and funny! Breakfast is yummy, the free drink after 8pm and the bands in the evening a lovely additional feature. If I should return to Zürich I would definitely go here again. It is close to everything and I would recommend it to anyone who is on a budget and who likes to walk around. The area is quite interesting, too since it is one of the now "hip" areas to hang out and go out (but yes, it is a red light district-not as fancy as Hamburg though ;) ). Thumbs up :)

Average little hostel with a reasonable price for Zurich. Conveniently located 10min walk from the main train station makes it a perfect place to stay overnight. Nothing bad to say about it.
