Cozy hostel with attention to details. Would go again. Only downside is the beer is too expensive.

Very friendly fun staff. It's a cheap hostel, about 15 minute walk to train station, additional 5 minutes to heart of old town. I would stay here again. The hostel has outstanding coffee!

I've probably been pretty spoiled with hostels up till this point. I was in a dorm with 6 beds. The room was small and it was hard to get around with just 3 girls in the room. There was 1 toilet and shower per floor. I paid 49 euros per night, which was pretty high. But I needed a place to sleep for the night and this was what was available. Despite all what I've said, it wasn't bad. My roommates were lovely and the staff was helpful. The noise at night was awful. That's my real complaint.

Average hostel but the cheapest around. It sucks that people will only stay a night or 2 at most hut that's Zurich! Small hot rooms, and the bar downstairs comes before hostel guests. Otherwise clean and comfortable and a good 15 min walk to anywhere that's not the going out street.

Great place with a good bar downstairs, would recommend 👍

Had everything you need in a hostel. Staff could have been a little more friendly but overall fits all of the basic criteria for a hostel.

The hostel was very clean, and the staff were all very friendly. It's in a good location and it's easy to find. You just need to email the hostel beforehand with your arrival time and they will happily meet you on the street. All in all, a lovely stay, with a great view of the city.

The most amazing hostel I've ever stayed in! The staff are amazing (especially Neya) with complimentary chocolate and drinks on arrival. Facilities were good and a really friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend this hostel for anyone!!

Had a surprisingly great stay here thanks to Neya the bartender working in the cafe downstairs. She's such a fun and friendly person and honestly the highlight of the hostel. The rooms were quite spacious and the bathrooms were clean despite the downside of having bad water pressure in the showers (free towels a nice touch though). Overall good value for money in a place as expensive as Zurich :)

Cool area of town. Recommendation to go swimming up the river as well as in the lake was great!

mmmmmmmmmmm the place was okay, nice area if you wanna go out and drink and maybe something more, the street indeed is a little bit noisy. the owner is a nice guy, thanks for the chocolate!!! the beer could be the bigger one not the small!!! the only bad experience was that they let a nasty guy staying there... he snored too much and he needed a shower!!!

A special thanks to super-charming Sam and super-friendly Valentin and the red-haired bartending girl (we were so busy chatting and laughing we never knew each other's names! :-p ) for making my stay in Zurich a pleasant one; keep up the good work! ;-)

It was expensive but then again it's Switzerland. the cots were uncomfortable . The bathrooms were ok.... This was my last resort but overall the staff is cool and extremely helpful

Problem #1 was finding the place with their ridiculous directions (I have navigated all Europe and these were the only difficult directions I have had). It isn't in the best part of town unless strip clubs are where you like to hang out on a tuesday night. The staff was relatively unhelpful and to top it all off the place was just ridiculously overpriced for what they gave you. I have paid $8 for a better hostel. Not that this place was terrible (except for the street noise every night)

One of the nicest hostels I've ever been to, even though the prices are very typical for Zurich and you have to pay a deposit (20 CHF/EUR or your ID) for the key. The reception is downstairs at a bar/café which seems to be popular even among local people. The backpacker breakfast (10 CHF) is definitely worth the money!

Its a great hostel for a rich and expensive city like Zurich. The staff are nice, but you have to get accustomed to the fact that you are asking for help from a barista/bartender attending his job, so just be patient, although they're very quick. The hostel is located in a probably the most diverse part of Zurich, so that means you will see a mix of people. There are many bars and clubs on that street, so night life is pretty much downstairs.

Zurich parties well into the morning so don't plan on sleeping if you're a light sleeper Great fun though and great outlet access in lockers Free welcome drink and chocolate as well :)

Zurich and Switzerland overall is very expensive, so it was expensive but standard I suppose. Best part was the atmosphere--I stayed in a 12 bed and was nervous about it but ended up meeting loads of cool people, going out w them, etc. Overall great vibe and would recommend for solo travellers! Also room was spacious with lockers and 2 brs. Only thing is the hostel is located in Zurich's red light district. It's not super sketchy but I wouldn't walk around alone at night.
