Horrible experience!! No assistance from any staff at all. Didn't even want to answer a simple question. The young male staff tried to hit on every female guest. I paid more for female dorm, but hey put a man in a private room where the female dorm rooms are. Many times the man came out from his room with nothing on but a towel. Scared the female guests because no one expected to see a guy in the dorm. Not enough hot water! It ran out of hot water when I was half way thru my shower in winter.

Great hostel, has a kiwi cafe/bar downstairs with a fun owner and this is a great place to meet people, have a drink and listen to live music/jam sessions. Surprisingly there is not much noise in the rooms from the music downstairs which is great as well. The rooms were nice with two ensuites in the 14 bedder. Pretty close to everything but located in what seems like the red light district of Zurich (although I had no issues walking around at night by myself, felt like a very safe city).

Langstars was great. I was lucky enough to be there on a Saturday night and there was live music. Staff were excellent, warm and welcoming. Will definitely stay there again.

One toilet for a whole floor is brutal. Beds are pretty comfortable. You get a free drink from the bar your first night. Wifi worked well in rooms.

Large mixed dorm on the top floor has its own kitchenette and eating area and is relatively quiet. WiFi works great and there are tons of outlets everywhere. Each bed has its own light. Staff is really friendly and helpful! Hostel is in the rowdy part of town but perfectly situated for walking everywhere. Can't get a better place for less in Zurich.

The hostel was nice, big storage lockers with outlets inside, each bed had outlets and a lamp, cozy common area, nice bathrooms. I enjoyed my stay!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Cafe down stairs had a great atmosphere, with live bands playing each night. Complimentary croissant and beer each day as well as terrific meat pies available to buy for lunch.

The cafe and service was awesome. The only problem was the hot water for the showers.

a little far from the station ,but if go there by bus 201 it is easy.

The street is noisy but I just closed the windows. it was a good stay!

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were pretty standard.. Appeared pretty clean and were a decedecent size. It's not much for what you pay but Zurich is really expensive in general. You share th bathroom 12 ways (if every bed is full) but the bathroom they do have seems well maintained and bright. I didn't find it any louder than any other hostel that faces the street.

This place sucked. For an expensive city like Zurich, this place fell way below expectations. It's an outdated, 5 floor walk up located in the slums/arm put of Zurich. Was solicited/harassed by hookers and drug dealers at night. Our 12 person mixed hostel was cramped, the beds hurt my back. They provided two sheets and instructed us to use them as sleeping bags between a comforter and mattress.

Staff was very helpful and breakfast was really good. Very chill vibe in the cafe/bar and a good place to meet people.

Right on top of the party street but a bit of a walk from oldtown. Fun but loud. They had a live band in the hostel bar. I loved the dorms with their own lounge rooms and kitchen. just one shower up there though. Good security

Loved it. Zurich's a bit expensive but that's just the way it is

20 minute walk from station, no laundry facilities, very small rooms, shower drain clogged even though I informed reception, it was still not fixed. Extremely noisey from the street and not a very nice area of this very beautiful city. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the coffee was great.

A nice cafe downstairs, but it was overpriced for what was provided. It might just be because Zurich is very expensive. Quite a walk from the main areas (20 minutes or so). It was pretty much just a place to sleep.

We stayed one night. The hostel has a nice and friendly atmosphere. However, there are not enough showers to accomodate all the beds available - there was one shower for our floor which has twelve beds. The hot water had run out by the time two people had their showers. Not great. Upon request though the woman on reception allowed us to take a shower on another floor that fortunately still had hot water. She was great! The hostel is located in a bad neighbourhood.
