Not the greatest but for 700 Baht a night I didn't expect much. It's just the cats - the smell of cats and the urinal in the shower as well as the old contact lenses we found in our room that made it quite uncomfortable!

A good hostel in a great area in Saladan. Right near food vendors, 7/11, dive shops and markets. Can hire scooters too to explore the rest of the island. The staff are lovely and the facilities are good value for money. Definitely recommend this place

Picked this hostel because it is within walking distance of the ferry (although not on the beaches) & was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy the location. Short walk from market and tasty restaurants overlooking the river. On other islands, I didn't rent a scooted b/c it felt dangerous for a beginner like me, but Lanta is the perfect island to get comfortable on one. I rented one for 150B at Lanta House, and had a blast exploring nearly the entire island. I would definitely stay here again.

Small basic, cheap, clean room, with shared bathroom. Exactly what you need on a budget. Use of kitchen down stairs, toothpaste, toilet roll, shampoo, soap, & conditioner in all bathrooms. Rent scooters for 50Baht cheaper then the 'street' price. Absolute bargain for exploring Lanta.

Really nice ho(s)tel! Private rooms are simple and clean. Airco room is nice, fan room is also nice! Right above the bed. No windows though, and dark painted walls, so the rooms are a little bit dark. Bathroom offers soap etc, even alcohol to get your toiletseat clean! It was 25 minutes walk to the closest beach, that's a downside. But you can take a tuk tuk or rent a scooter. Plus: it 's in the middle of the shopping area and nice restaurants, supermarkets! And really close to the pier!

Was a great hostel but right next to the pier and not near the really nice beaches. Also could have helped if the staff smiled a bit. When they smiled they were fantastic!!

This guesthouse is brilliant value for money and the staff were helpful. Its not near the beach but everywhere is accessible if you rent out a moped from the guesthouse or in the town. There is a computer with free internet and free tea and coffee. Also the wifi connection was good in the room.
