We live at the only VIP room at third floor. it has a balcony and a beautiful mountain view. We like our room very much!! The owner is from Singapore and can speak very good Cantonese and English, they also cook excellent Thai food for us. It's just like staying with our family after many months of travelling, we feel very warm and welcoming. They also got two very beautiful n lovely cat Meow and Catty to welcome us. We miss them already!! When we comeback, we will stay at the same hotel again!!

Good hotel, nice helpful staff and free breakfast. Downside was the cost. It was expensive in comparison to other accomadation in the area offering the same level of service.

very nice owners, great breakfast (included). Super clean and spacious rooms. Not in the heart of town, but only a 5 min walk and you are in Backpacker party central.

A night costs too much. There are same hotels nearby cheaper.

We loved our time at Laos Haven hotel. It's slightly out of the backpacker/bar-dominated centre of Vang Vieng so its quiet and peaceful but less than 5 mins walk to cafes/town. Breakfast is simple but done well. Lovely big rooms with windows that open, clean and several relaxing common areas outside to relax in . The owners are onsite all the time and the pride they take in their hotel is evident. They were really lovely to deal with, made us feel very at home. Highly recommend.

I lived a double room, it's clean and the breakfast is good. The hostel owner is nice. If you are from Hong Kong, it's definitely your choice as the owner speaks cantonese as well.

A great place to stay. Spotlessly clean, really good breakfast choice. Restaurant is open for all meals. Family owners speak perfect English and are very helpful.

We only stayed for one night to break the bus journey from Luang Prabang to Vientiane. Very happy with this hostel. It's nice and quiet. Good for us who had been traveling at a hectic speed for 10 days. Along our traveling through Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos, we sometimes had some difficulties communicating with hostel staff whose English slightly limited, but having Marcus greeting us at the hostel was a relief as he speaks English as first language and informative about the area.

The owner and his son is very friendly and helpful. Really put in effort to make their guests feel at home. Hotel is very clean - even more so by Laos standard. This is really necessary as hygenic is a great concern in Laos. Hotel is a bit further from the river though, but while there is no river view, view of the hills without the river is great in its own way. I really enjoyed my stay here
