Las Camas Hostel Mini Reviews

This hostel is essentially a frat house, but even dirtier. The bathroom was disgusting, I was afraid to shower--not sure it had been cleaned in months. The bedroom I stayed in, which was literally a bedroom just crammed with bunkbeds, was covered in trash and the sheets didn't even fully cover the beds. People walking around in their underwear and using everyone else's stuff/eating everyone else's food. I do not recommend this place to anyone but frat boys and girls who want to party with them.

Amazing place! I went twice to Las Camas during my trip in Costa Rica because the atmosphere there is like nowhere else! Edit and Csaba make sure you enjoy your stay and are so friendly! If you want to meet some nice poeple and have fun, it's definitely the place to go! Edit baked a cake for my friend's birthday! It gives you a picture of the Las Camas mood! There's some surfboard available, the pool is great, outside and inside showers, I just LOVED it!! Thanks again to Edit and Csaba!

Best hostel ever. If you go to Jaco, you must stay here! Brilliant staff a and atmosphere and a lovely place to stay.

I love this place! It's perfect if you're looking for a great staff, Edit and Csabas (sorry if that's spelled wrong :) are amazing, very helpful and make sure the place feels very safe and welcoming. There's a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor showers and indoor showers are sure to suit everyone's lifestyle, a pool, hammocks... Very relaxing and chill, but also fun if you like to socialize. Can't imagine there being a better hostel in Jaco. I Recommend it to everyone. Very happy with my stay.

Place was very pretty and perfect for doing nothing but relaxing. Staff knew where stuff was if you had any questions. Only problems was the rocks for half the yard. My feet hurt when i had to keep walking over them to get to the eating table.

I would definitly come to this Place again. Nice atmosphere. The two owner of the Hostel are great.

Edit and Csaba are both excellent hosts. The hostel has a very relaxed and friendly feel! There are surf boards and bikes available to rent for cheap and the pool out the back is great. I\'d highly recommend this place!!

This Hostel has been the best one I have stayed in yet!!! Edit and Chabba, owners, are truly badass! They both welcomed me in their home like we were long lost friends! & the atmosphere is muy muy tranquilo!! They also took me and the rest of the WHOLE Hostel out to a hidden look out point over the beach and then straight to a bonfire on the beach w/ food and drinks!! I recommend this place and will, myself, always stay here while in Jaco, Costa Rica!! Chabba N Edit, you guys r the best! G

A very inviting environment. The staff is friendly and helpful. Count on a good time here, going out or staying in. The pool is clean and cool, and the pong table is great. Cold and hot shower.

I loved staying at this hostel! Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. It's in a great neighborhood, close to the beach, bars, and restaurants, and very safe. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Jaco!

We enjoyed our stay because of the laid back atmosphere, the people there were great! The owners were well connected in the community. I didn\'t like the couches, but the pool was clean and private. It hostel is for people young at heart.

This place is awesome. Everyone is really chill and laid back. Edit and Chaba are great and can help you with anything You need. You can rent bikes, surfboards, book tours here cheaper than the local tour places! The atmosphere is great and there are always good people staying here. If you are traveling and looking for the best bang for your buck, las camas the place to be. Don\'t even bother looking at other hostels. You will be wasting our time. I\'ll definitely be back before my trip is over. Cheers

AMAZING HOSTEL! I love this place so much, Edit and Csaba are sooo friendly and make you feel right at home straight away. It's a very small and personal hostel so you end up friends with everybody staying here within a few minutes. the vibe here is totally awesome, I feel totally happy and safe here and definitely part of the family! Edit and Csaba are super helpful with anything you need and go out of their way to make sure your stay is amazing. Defo recommend this hostel to everyone!!!
