the location is fine, 2 minutes walking from the central square (Plaza 9 de Julio). Not a very cool atmosphere, would recommend this place if you want to go with your family. I moved to another hostel 2 blocks from Las Rejas (half price) with more facilities and managed by young and responsible people.

Friendly, helpful staff, good location one cuadra from main plaza. Accommodating when we kept leaving for a few days to travel north and south of Salta, leaving our luggage in storage.

The hostel was wonderful. The room was incredibly quiet, I think we overslept every morning! They were incredibly kind and generous storing our luggage and allowing us to hang out all day and night after we checked out. And we also enjoyed the tour we took with the mountain bike company connected to the hostel.

One of the best places I stayed at in South America. Great location, great value. Cute hostel with pretty garden.

The staff are very helpful and speak English. The hostel is amazingly quiet. Not the place for party animals but great for travellers wanting a good night sleep.
