Pretty much a budget hotel rather than a hostel but the staff were really helpful. Nice and clean and about a 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas so the location is pretty good also. If you are going to the Colca Canyon then try to do at least the 2 day trek if you have the time - the one day is almost not worth it for all of the travelling (and getting up at 2am)!!

the rooms were clean and there was hot water but some of the staff werent very nice. i went out one night and got back late and the staff memeber that answered the door was angry i had woken her even though i had checked before hand that the reception was 24 hours, so than i felt like i couldnt go out at night because i didnt want to upset the staff, i wouldnt stay there again for that reason.

Unlike other hostels, the manager was helpful only for a price. Further, it was the only one we stayed at in Peru that did not offer free pick-up at the bus station.

Rooms were impecably clean, staff was very helpful, our room off the courtyard was very quiet. Great location, breakfast was a nice touch as well. Just what we were looking for.

WE thoroughy enjoyed our stay at this hostel and would recommend it to anyone. We stayed in the bungalow building at the bcak and it was warm, cosy and spacious.
