the staff were helpful but the hostel was deserted and nights out were cancelled. not a good choice for people travelling alone.

This hostel is nowhere near anything. It's a good walk to Freemont and a longer bus ride to the strip. The buses are infrequent. The hostel is in a really dodgy area. As i waited for the airport shuttle, three crazy people- muttering and laughing manically- ambled past me in 15 mins. One even sat next to me- for no reason- drinking and mumbling about hurting people. The staff are unhelpful. they tried to charge me more for my bed even though i presented my hostelworld confirmation to them.

There is no hair dryer available. You definitely won't find any soup or shampoo in the bathroom, no everyday cleaning. We had to pay extra 1$ for towel. The stuff was pretty helpful and nice. It is about 45min walk to the strip.

The staff there is awesome and make your stay really fun! The location is not so good though since you have to take a bus to go to the strip and it costs $7! Then to come back late at night the are doesn't look so safe, they say it is, but it really has a bad aspect. Next time I would check hotels closer to the strip because they may be worth the money.

I liked that the lockers in the room have power points in each locker so you can charge up your phone/camera in the locker-great idea! The location is not great-about 8 blocks from the Freemont Street (Old Strip),and there a few odd characters on the street-but this isnt the hostels fault - just try to stay in a group. The staff were friendly, helpful and could not fault them - there was also someone on reception 24/7 which feels more secure.Rooms were basic but no probs.Kitchen was well equipped.

The cleanliness needs to be looked into...staff though new was excellent...little concern about safety in that area...otherwise a comfortable place to stay..

It's too far from the Strip and it's in a very bad part of town. Rooms were clean enough, however the lights didn't work and the battery on the fire alarm was flat, so it kept beeping. Good that it was heated and the rooms are a good size. Probably wouldn't stay again as it is a 20 min walk to a bus and then at least 30 min by bus to the strip. Nothing close by where you can eat besides a dodgy looking pizza place. Staff were pretty friendly

The hostel was great. Staff were friendly. Social events were arranged and they could great advice on other places to go to. Rooms are clean, spacious and include their own bathroom. Lockers are big and have plug sockets. There is a pool there too. There didn't seem to be much socialising. But that was probably more to do with when I visited - mid-week in November. The only downside is the location - Downtown Las Vegas - as it is quite far from the Strip and the Airport. But it is great value!

Really cool Front Desk Staff, Very helpful and energetic, thank you!!! There was a lack of motivation by the party organizer, has some nice nights planned, but not a lot of energy put into making them happen!!! the hostel has a lot of potential and could be updated!!!

Great place to stay. Close to the Old Strip which many say is better anyway. James and Starr are awesome too. Stay here

I travel for years and never seen a bad hostel. In Las Vegas does not pay to stay in hostel, even this, which is extremely far from the main street of Las Vegas. Indian to stay in a hotel because the prices are similar and you have more convenience and privacy.

Jqmes is AWESOME !!!! All morning he did my pancakes and my laundry. He brought us at the best party of Vegas. Nice staff helpful but my favorite will stay Jqmes the COOLEST guy of this Hostel. The Hostel is located about 8 minutes (car) to The Strip.

AMAZING times at this hostel, the events organised are SO much fun. I did the $30 limo ride with waaay too much alcohol provided and entry into luxor (where ladies drink free) also did the strip club inc. 2 free drink, a limo and a pub crawl before to $2 anythings! They know that backpackers want the best value for cheap mone and they give it. The fact they hav a pool is a BIG PLUS for a hung over day in the desert. There are shuttes to the strip but other then that it'll cost you $27 for a cab.
