After reserving the hostel online I went along to the hostel before my scheduled check in date to ask a question. I was very disappointed at what I found. It is not a HI (hostelling international) hostel, despite still displaying a very large HI sign in the reception window, there were only 12 lockers for the entire hostel (not one for each guest as advertised), which were located outside on the street, and the pool had rubbish floating in it. I was so upset I had to cancel my booking.

I stayed there for 3 nights and I had to take showers with cold water because the water heater was not working. I complained but they never fixed it up. I better recommend a travelodge located also on Las Vegas Strip.

They changed the room locks without any notice. So I could not get into my room. The room had four beds but only two keys. One employee has ordered an airport shuttle, nobody else knew about it and the shuttle did not come. The wake up call request was taken, but no calls has been maid. I would be in trouble, if I missed my flight. No european/US adapter for power supply was available. Employees has tried to sell expensive tours to guests. It is not a real hostel, just a modified motel.

Much more of a motel than a hostel. Not much in the way of facilities, and not a very social place at all. In an alright location - on the strip, but consider that the strip is very long...

Pretty good location close to the Stratosphere, I paid for a dorm however had it all to myself. Staff were very helpful, however there seemed to be a few unsavoury characters hanging around.
