Hi!!I stayed at LBC on my own for 4 nights March 2013.I will sum it up quickly, the location is excellent 2 mn walk to the beach near all the restaurants...many restaurants are much better than the Blue restaurant which is the entrance to the cottages. My hut was quite disappointing, the bed matress is horrible very hard and really hurt my back, the towels left there didn't seem to be clean, the bathroom was dirty and full of insects...No internet at all,u can find much better for that price...

If you like big five star hotels, parties and supermarkets don't go there. But if you want to walk down to the beach without schoes which is 20m away from your cottage and it is in the middle of a forest,if you want to feel free and eat your meals 10m from the see it is the best place for you to go. Silence, jungle feeling, resting for a very cheap prise.

My friend and I made a reservation the night before we arrived in Goa. We received a confirmation email and arrived at the property (which was difficult to locate, no signage for taxi/tuk-tuk drivers in the main town), only to have the owner/boss rudely Raj inform us he knew nothing of our booking. Upon showing him the hostelworld booking confirmation, he we very dismissive and told us he definitely didn't receive the booking. Definitely would NOT recommend, walk along the beach and find better!

Great location. Raj the manager is very helpful. 1 minute walk to the beach. Nice little beach house with mosquito net. Not that much of a nightlife, but plenty of nice little restaurants and bars.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Laughing Buddha. Considering that the beach huts must be dismantled every year for monsoons, the cottages were rustic, but fun! Bright colors and a mosquito net are the initial impression, and they are close to the north end of Palolem beach. Raj was fun and very helpful.
