Lavender Circus Hostel, Doubles & Ensuites Reviews

Absolutely lovely place! The staff is really nice and helpful (thanks Jude and Zsuzsi!) and you get so many ideas where to go and what to do, you definitely don't need a tourist-information anymore;-) The hostel is very clean, cozy and charming with lots of nice decoration. Just a great place to feel well!

We stayed at the apartment on the 2nd floor, a level below the hostel reception. It was spacious and has everything that you would need in a vacation flat - a pedestal fan comes in very handy too so bonus points for that. Secure, charming hostel with full of quirky ornaments and great atmosphere. Stay here for the experience, please do!

We had a fantastic time at Lavender Circus! the staff is really friendly and help you with tips, maps and advice about the city. The design and admosphere is great and the location super if you want to se everything there is to see. would absolutely choose Lavender circus again when visiting Budapest!!

Great rooms ! Only double or appartments so it is mainly couples booking there. Not the type of place to party but you can meet a lot of interesting people in the community room. Staff is always looking to help you and offering something to drink. They came up with so many helpful suggestions that it made my trip easier. Almost everything is within a short walk so the location is good except that it is located on quite a busy street.

My second stay in this hostel (last one was 2 years ago). The charm of the place and friendliness of the staff didn't changed. It is the perfect hostel. Perfect location to explore the city.

Best hostel I have ever stayed!

we have been to 8 country in Europe, Lavender circus definitely is the BEST in Europe! not only in Europe but also in the world. we love the reception staff, we love the room, we love Budapest because of Lavender circus.

the staff is real friendly and sweet, the hostel is decorated very cute, the room is big and bright.

Lavender Circus Hostel is a great historic building and I love the eclectic decor the hostel has. The fish tanks, the antiques, the music and the lampshades were a few of my favourites. What really makes Lavender Circus amazing was the warm, friendly, inviting and helpful staff! You felt like you were in their home and they were the most amazing hosts.. offering palinka, coffee and advice on what to see and do with open arms! Thank you Lavender, I hope to someday return!

Very nice place. Calme but you can also easily meat people if you want to in the living room around tea or coffee. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Ideal place to stay, very central.

This was without a doubt the greatest hostel i have ever stayed in! The staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond in all situations. The rooms had great character the the ensuite we were in was like an apartment. The location was great too being just a couple minutes walk from the jewish district with its great night life, but also close to one of the bigger markets and lots of great little places to eat around each corner. This is the best hostel i have ever stayed at!

I really can't recommend enough. If your a couple and want to see the city this is the place to go.
