The hostel was really great! It's one of the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The location was perfect, very close to some significant sightseeings and bars and easy to get from the airport with public transport. We stayed in a private double room which was spacious enough and clean, also very artistic with some really smart decorations. The staff was also very helpful and nice to us. I would surely recommend the hostel and hopefully will go there again :)

This was one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. Small hostel with lots of character. The staff was extermely helpful and friendly. Very clean and secure (had to get through 4 locked doors/gates to get to our room). The only minor complaint I have is that the showers are a bit awkward, however if you're staying in Budapest you should be going to the Baths anyways :)

It is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed for a long time. Great location, clean and with very nice atmosphere. On our arrival we were greet with welcome drink and given the Budapest map and all the important information. Ester (one of the staff members) was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and we even have a view at the National Museum! Thank you :)

A very comfortable and friendely place to stay at. The staff really does its best, and there is an overall atmosphere of respect, peace and kindness. I think the hostel's description of itself is quite accurate. The only thing that might be irritating is taking the big stairs to the highest floor of the building every time since threre is no elevator, but its not that of a big deal.

Great atmosphere and location, all staff ranging from friendly to super-friendly. Room was good by hostel-standard, a bit warm as the bed was high up close to ceiling. A bit of a long wait for bathrooms in the morning, but not too bad. Rather small kitchen but works well when not to many ppl around. Good choice for couples and single travellers.

Arriving at Lavender Circus we were amazed at the quirky nature of the property. Chairs on the walls, random ornaments etc. Best of all was the helpful nature of the staff. The girl who checked us in spent at least 30 minutes going over the best things to do and see in the city, covering bars, restaurants, galleries markets and more. The perfect base for exploring a wonderful city, I will definitely be recommending the hotel, and will probably return myself later this year!

this hostel was the most unusual we have ever stayed in, love the interior decoration, quirky style, friendly staff, they give great advice on what to do and where to eat + go for a few drinks. all in all we would definately recommend this hostel to those who are used to travelling and like a change from the norm!

Very good place. Location couldn't be better, staff are very helpful, the rooms are high quality for a hostel, bathrooms superb for a hostel, and in general it's a nice quirky place. Stayed for one week, not a problem. Do be warned that it's on the 3rd floor of a building though. I'm fit & healthy so had no problem, but if you've dodgy knees or are on crutches, may not be the best option. Can't fault our stay there though :)

We had a great time and Susi is a very knowledgeable and helpful staff member. Even though our room window opened to the balcony/walkway the hostel was very quiet in the mornings and we could sleep in.
