Good hostel with good quality..close to main attractions in Melaka..also cheap and the hostel staff is very friendly and helpfull

Good location and nice, helpful staff. Our room wasn't great as it was tiny and the only room without a window so felt pretty claustrophobic. The aircon worked fine tho and the bed was decent. The atmosphere was very friendly and chilled out. The worst thing about this place is the bathrooms tho. It's the shower above a toilet scenario in a tiny cubicle and they really need cleaned more often as well... No toilet paper and no towels. Also the free breakfast is toast bread with butter. That's it.

Stayed for three nights, not on the river but in a good position for exploring the old town. Clean and friendly hostel, would recommend and use again.

This was really the worst hotel/hostel experience we have ever had. Once we got there, the rather rude receptionist told us that they didn't have a room for us, even though we had booked in advance on Hostelworld. We had booked a double bed room for two nights, but he said that all he could give us was a bunk bed room for only one night with no discount. We protested and at least got a double bed, but when we were to pay, the guy wanted a fulll price, including the deposit from Hostelworld.
