We stayed here for two nights and the owner/manager was so sweet and very helpful. We stayed in the place next door cause we wanted a private room but it was actually more of an apartment, had a fridge, kitchen and everything. Since there was misunderstanding about the room types, it wasn't quite prepared but for the price we paid it was fine. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, it's definitely homey for all :)

Mala the hostel owner is the best! She really makes everyone being home, she will do everything to make your stay there as nice as possible. Great atmosphere! Good location 2 min walk to the beach with all the restaurants, 5 min to bus station and 10 min drive to train station. Very safe place. They serve breakfast and kitchen is open for cooking at any time. Would stay here any time again. Mala please keep doing what you do, you are awesome!

Owners were very helpful, I arrived with Strep Throat and they were very quick to tell me how to get to a pharmacy and get some antibiotics, they also gave me there card to give to the pharmacist if I had any trouble. Very close to the beach and very good restaurants. The owners were also very easy to help with tours and drivers!

Lavina Beach Hostel was simply amazing. There was wifi available. We got the AC running for a little extra. We met a few like minded travelers. The caretaker Mrs. Mala was probably the best I have ever encountered. She was really frank and nice about the places to travel and attractions to visit. She even bargained on our behalf for the Safari and other hostels / guest houses in other cities. We loved it so much we stopped by on our way back. I would definitely love to go back to this place.
