Reviews of Lazy Crow & Co. Guesthouse

We had tiny, stuffy and stinking room without window. Very dirty bathrooms. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

No hot water in the shower, no toilet paper and no staff member to talk to. After check in we didn't see him again. Very unhappy with the hostel.

About Lazy Crow & Co. Guesthouse

ATTENTION: june 12 is the night of the patron saint of lisbon, st. Antonio. and right here at our door is where the biggest party happens. a big festival with 1 million persons out, parades, music on the street, it's the best night in lisbon. come and see for yourself. we put some pictures here to give you an idea....

There's this old place called alfama. abandoned palaces. old people playing guitar in small taverns. a group of friends sipping a beer under the umbrellas. the hostel? chill out, grab a glass, you just found it... rest a bit, the streets are a maze, the night is going to be long. it's not hotel california, but you don't want to leave....

the lazy crow is now located just in the center of lisbon, in the most tipical and ancient quarter of lisbon, alfama. This quarter is so cool there's even a wikipedia page for it. This is an old quarter that has existed for over a thousand years, back from moorish times, with the castle on top. So, we decided to make the crow's nest here....

Everybody loves to walk up and down the ancient cobbled streets that take you back like if you were on a medieval town. And at night you just have to step out to find some of most amazing Fado houses. Fado is a very special music style from portugal, coming back from centuries. Also, here you'll find in the very quarter a lifestyle very particular, with small groceries stores and cafés, people hanging out and chatting all day long as if they were in a small village of old times.

Our place is really small and friendly, and we want you here as another one from the group, not a guest. we usually hang around in the kitchen or the patio outside, or will show you the good spots around ourselves.

Our price has everything included, no fuss about extras for internet, linen or whatever.... just come in and go around free, beacuse you're staying with friends. Us, and the ones you'll meeet here..... :)

Remember that checkins are from 2 pm, before that the rooms are still being cleaned and prepared. if you have any doubts about your arrival, please contact us.

And then you can meet a bunch of people here and go out to find the amazing Lisbon, from the enchanted castles in the fairy-tale landscape of Sintra, to the clubs and bars opening all night long, as long as you can take it. The only thing closing before four in the morning here in this city are your eyes, from being so tired.... Also you can just hang around in the patio or the cafés nearby, rest, meet people and change stories...

Come and join the company!
