Taco at the reception is a really nice and helpful guy. Room was spacious and good ac. Shower was on the bottom floor but not that big of a deal. Attached restaurant has good food for all meals and nice staff. Good place to stay for full moon. Not far but not too close either

Hostel owner could not have been more helpful. The free buckets each night were great. The free breakfast is actually only 100 Baht off the breakfast menu in couple of the local bars however this still meant a cheap western breakfast in comparison, which is much needed after full moon!
The staff especially Tacco are so nice and accommodating. He recommended places to visit, the gorgeous beaches in the north and had a free breakfast ticket and free bucket ticket ready for us everyday . Highly recommend
Wicked place to stay. Just spent the weekend there and had a great time. I booked a deluxe double room to myself. It was not only clean but always very very modern. Flat screen tv/sofa area, nice comfy double bed and a great bathroom. Couldnt recommend this place to people anymore. Staff were amazing, especially the Thai guy with the dyed blonde hair (Sorry cant remember your name) This is the only place to stay in Haadrin. Great job guys, will be back for new years!
So beyond cheap it is incredible. Yet you still get neat and tidy place with aircons and coffee in the mornings. I have paid alot more for alot less in Thailand. A must stay. I stayed in schinanigens. Which was just the best. Met tge most awesome people there and really enjoyed our stay. It is a 2min walk away from restaurans and stuff and a 4min walk away from the beach. Exactly the place to be...
Love our stay at lazy house( shenanigans) from the min we got there the staff looked after everything. (Even tho I mess the booking up) but jay sorted us out.. Hostel was berry clean as were all the shower rooms. All doors locked so you know everything is safe while your away. John the owner is a pretty cool chap if you need anything and he can help he will. The hostel is linked to a few mor hostels and reactants so your never stuck for something to eat. And the food is fantastic. David (willy)

Really nice lady keeping the place, The place is quiet and close from the full sunset/sunrise beach. The only problem are the beds. Those are old bunk bed in metal, squicking each time you move, and you can feel every move the other person is doing on the other mattress.
Not the nicest looking place ever but great for full moon. Right near the full moon beach, but far enough away to sleep. The bonuses included in deluxe stays are worth it too - buckets, good breakfast and nice meal on full moon. Little bit cramped with all the baggage between beds so get cosy!
Beds and room was good. Shower in the 4 bed dorm didn't work and room wasn't cleaned for the 5 days I stayed. Didn't get 2 nights free as stated, oh well. Nice location but no real common area to meet ppl only a couple tables outside...
Very lovely couple running it, the area between the two beaches is only a ten minute walk and this is closer to the quiet side which was nice. Great food close by as well. Lots of bunk beds stacked in the dorms but people were great while we were there so it wasn't bad.
Good place for Full Moon and Taco, manager was very kind. It is a shame there is not a better socialising area, only the tables and chairs out front.
Great staff - very helpful. We stayed in the newly renovated dorm and the room was large and comfortable! Our bunk beds were new; they were quality mattresses. The cold a/c was a nice retreat from the hot, humid temps. The common area is a great place to mingle and meet people (although there isn't a/c due to being a large, open room understandbly). Good location from the beach and shops around town. Nice mix of people.
Lazy House Hostel was great and made all the better by the manager Taco who was there to answer any and all questions. He really made you feel welcome and helped out in any way he could. The room that we stayed in was a 4 bed dorm with an ensuite. It was basic but comfortable. There was security boxes in the room and the beds were clean and sturdy. The location in the smallish town of Haad Rin was very good as everything, including the beach, was within a 5 min walk. Overall it was a good Hostel
