Nice place to chill, if it's low season you might get moved slightly up the road to the other part of the hostel but still very close to town. The owners are great and will happily go out of their way for you if they can. Had a great time there

I came with three friends and we felt right at home. The staff were extremely accommodating and there is literally nothing they could have done to improve our stay. Thank you so much, we will only be using your hostel in the future.

This review is for shenanigans, as I turned up at Lazy House and was told I had made an incorrect booking. I hadn't, they had decided to move me because Lazy House was closed. Would have been preferential if they had just emailed to tell me this instead of putting the blame on me. The main toilets outside in the yard are ok, the one attached to my dorm wasn't very nice. Wifi isn't great, the manager blamed this on my phone, but others were having the same prob on other devices.

I stayed here over the Full Moon Party period and I was happy that I only had to book 4 compulsory nights rather than 5 which saved me some money. Most places are pretty expensive around this time anyway. The rooms were basic, dark with strong air-con so perfect for nursing a hangover but for that reason their wasn't much atmosphere. It was clean, the staff were lovely and I was very happy to have a locker in my room. I would definitely recommend.

Very good location, strong air-con and friendly staff. I just think the price I paid was way over the average. I had to pay 800 baths for the Full Moon Party night and 550 for the next 2 ones, which was much higher then the other places you can find around there.

Compared to other places I saw on the island, this one handles Full Moon Party festivities better than the rest!

Problems with consistently running water. Comfortable dorms. Friendly and super helpful staff. (This is for Shenanigans.)

We really enjoyed our stay at Shenanigans which is the place that we actually stayed (affiliated with lazy house). The hospitality that we were shown was amazing. The manager there is extremely helpful and friendly, and they really do try to help you feel at home. The location is very convenient, far enough away from the noise of the village so it's nice and quiet, but short walking distance to the village and both beaches in Haad Rin. We would definitely stay here again!

Lazy House is the best place to be on Koh Phangan. It is located in Haad Rin and within 5 mins walking to great local restaurants, bars and the beach. My group of 5 came with the intention of staying 3 nights and extended to 10! Beds and rooms area clean as well as bathrooms and common areas. The common area is equipped with a projector and flat screens to occupy your chill times. Paul goes out of his way to make your time at Lazy House memorable. Best hostel experience I've had, thanks Paul!

We arrived late so the Lazy House reception had been closed. Fortunately, the Lazy House restaurant hooked us up with Shenanigans, a partner hostel down the street. We got a free upgrade to a nicer room with a flat screen TV. Only stayed one night before moving on to Haad Thian, but think it would have been a nice location to stay longer. Not much to look at with all the construction nearby, but centrally located and a really good price for a double room.

Excellent location and value for the money - we paid 7 US per night for a private AC room. They didn't clean our room for a week but had a very helpful and nice staff.

The lobby has two flatscreens, plenty of couches, a big table to play drinking games on, a free computer and a nice big music box. So this is definitely a good location to hang out before the partys or when it's too hot outside. The bathrooms are new and get cleaned at least every day. I injured my foot and couldn't walk for about a week and had to stay on the couch, but the staff took fantastic care of me and got me anything needed. It is one of these hostels who really care about their guests!

Good facilities and great location, 7 minute walk from the beach. the showers were really good. but it lacked of fun and party, i would have enjoyed more if they organized something, beyond the full mooon party night. it is a problem that part of the staff doesnt speak english. the owner Jon is friendly and helpfull, but he shouldnt criticize or reprimand his employees in front of the guests, it wanst confy.
