Private dorms were really nice! Staff was friendly and the doors were locked on the outside. Not the best location in comparison to Some of the bungalows, but 2 minute walk from either beach can't be beat for the cost

Really nice, simple hostel. We went in between full moon parties so there were not many people about but the owner(takko) still made us feel very welcome from start to finish.

Taco (the supervisor) is a great man with principles. He will do everything to help you and keep a great atmosphere in the hostel. Hostel was quite expensive because of full moon party. There were no outlets in my room and it had a terrible sew smell coming from the air con. Bathrooms were good and the place is 5 minute walk from the beach. Got my flip flops stolen.

Surprisingly quiet spot even on Full Moon Night but still only a few minutes walk from the beach. Good Staff. No common area but three restaurants that you can go to and possible to get discount vouchers from hostel staff for them.

Owner Comment (Hide)
I'm sorry to have to ask you this so please don't take offence , Are you partially sighted ???? the common room is the large room behind reception with the sofas and the TV and satellite system . 3 for security ,ho ho ho you did not notice the common room so i can not expect you to notice the CCTV cameras all over the building ... dont bump into any lamp posts on your walk home and remember to look both ways when crossing the road ... watch out for the big shiny cars, they can kill you.

Overall a really welcoming stay with a perfect location. The staff went above and beyond their duty with everyone's best interests at heart. Taco in particular took care of every guest and always checked we felt safe and well looked after. The room was clean with safely deposit boxes which was ideal. The Lazy house resturant was just round the corner with funny movies on all day and again friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting to attend the full moon party with good value for money.

The staff especially Taco was super awesome! It's a pretty standard hostel, but they gave us breakfast vouchers every morning, a free bucket every day, and a meal on the night of the full moon. We were very satisfied with this place! We had friends stay at 2 other different hostels and didn't get anything for free and thought ours was way better! Definitely would recommend this place

I stayed at the laZy house hostel during the full Moon party. The hostel is very basic but you Dont need more. There is a beach nearby, the lazy house restaurant where you can watch movies, and many more. Also i met so many nice people!

You get a lot more for the price than in other hostels on the island - breakfast vouchers, bucket vouchers...the rooms and bathroom area is pretty basic but quite alright. the staff, especially tacco is exceptionally friendly, you definitely do not find that in every hostel. Highly recommend it!

I had a wonderful stay at lazy house! I was there for the Full Moon and it is a perfect location, close to the main party beach (5 min walk) but very quiet. Taco is the best, always ready to help and if you are cool with him, he might invite you for a Nepalese diner! I definitely recommend the place!

Taco at the reception is a really nice and helpful guy. Room was spacious and good ac. Shower was on the bottom floor but not that big of a deal. Attached restaurant has good food for all meals and nice staff. Good place to stay for full moon. Not far but not too close either

Staying here was an absolute pleasure. Words genuinely cannot express our gratitude for the hospitality we received from each and every member of staff . We were made feel right at home and every body went out of their way to ensure we were happy and comfortable. Words do not scratch the surface. The Hostel has left a lasting effect on us as did Jamie in the lazy house bar and Nye Nye (not sure how to spell it) was such a gent and really touched our hearts.

Hostel owner could not have been more helpful. The free buckets each night were great. The free breakfast is actually only 100 Baht off the breakfast menu in couple of the local bars however this still meant a cheap western breakfast in comparison, which is much needed after full moon!

The staff especially Tacco are so nice and accommodating. He recommended places to visit, the gorgeous beaches in the north and had a free breakfast ticket and free bucket ticket ready for us everyday . Highly recommend

Wicked place to stay. Just spent the weekend there and had a great time. I booked a deluxe double room to myself. It was not only clean but always very very modern. Flat screen tv/sofa area, nice comfy double bed and a great bathroom. Couldnt recommend this place to people anymore. Staff were amazing, especially the Thai guy with the dyed blonde hair (Sorry cant remember your name) This is the only place to stay in Haadrin. Great job guys, will be back for new years!

So beyond cheap it is incredible. Yet you still get neat and tidy place with aircons and coffee in the mornings. I have paid alot more for alot less in Thailand. A must stay. I stayed in schinanigens. Which was just the best. Met tge most awesome people there and really enjoyed our stay. It is a 2min walk away from restaurans and stuff and a 4min walk away from the beach. Exactly the place to be...
