The check in office and the building we were told we were staying in are located in 2 different districts (took an hour to walk to our building!). There was no phone or way to contact the check in office in case of an emergency.The first night we stayed two police officers were let into our building and were asking everyone staying there questions about the "hostel" indicating that the owners were being investigated. We ended up demanding for a refund for the nights we didn't stay.

We were a group of 8 and had like a flat with 4 rooms -each with its own bathroom-. The hostel was very well located, near San Marcos. The check-in office is located somewhere else, very close to the bus station. They can take you by "vapporetto" to your hostel. If you decide to walk, you are given a map and directions, also very easy to reach on foot. It includes a poor but fair breakfast which is in the room -coffee, tea, honey, jam and toasts-. In general terms, very nice hostel!

We expected to go to a young-people-hostel and meet people, but when we got there we realized there was no way you could meet anyone anywhere but in the stairs, since there was no common area. Basically, it consists on a few rooms with private bathrooms (all very nice), but that is it.
