Lovely room in an old Villa house. Bed comfortable, room warm, hotwater average if in demand, staff accommodating but not helpful e.g. providing map or directions or recommendations. Directions need editing, i.e. bus stop is UNDERGROUND Shoping Ctr entrance opposite Train Station, bus driver didn't understand/care that we wanted off at Strada de Pescaia, so from Square we had to go by foot, failed again due to vague instructions and complexity of narrow lanes, so took taxi(6 euro).Lovely room in an old Villa house. This is a very beautiful palazzo with clean and big rooms. The house has a nice garden where can you leave the car. The owner was very friendly and helpful, when we called him he was there soon. The citycentre is 15 min. but you can walk on the streets from the 14th-15th century towards the Campo. This is a very beautiful palazzo with clean and big rooms. I am a senior citizen.Poor directions meant I had to walk half mile uphill in baking sun, dragging suitcase. On arrival, place deserted. Once grand villa and garden now dilapidated and neglected, notice on door to call a number, waited 10 mins+ for woman to arrive. Gave me double room on ground floor as compensation, linen and towels clean but smelly entrance. Had to get drinking water from pump in garden, nowhere to boil water for drink, Credit cards not accepted Real money -grabbing place. Not easily accessible by car. The place is really old fashionned. 15 min from the center but it's located closed to a very noisy street... It's not the best hotel ever but if you're just looking for a bed to sleep, it's okNot easily accessible by car. The hostel is very near to the city center and I liked the possibility to park our car in the hostels garden. We booked two rooms for two persons each and had a bathroom to ourselves which was great! The hostel is very near to the city center and I liked the possibility to park our car in the hostels garden. May be not the best place to stay in siena, but not so bad than some of the reviews says. It is ok for a few days, not far away from the center of the city, only 15-20 minutes walk to the piazza del campo.May be not the best place to stay in siena, but not so bad than some of the reviews says.
