We spent a weekend at Le Gîte. The staff was really kind and helpfull and atmosphere was quiet but ok, not that much interaction between guests. Location is average, after walking 20/30 min u get to the areas of interest. The house itselft looks a bit left behind and forgotten. Inside facilities such as beds and showers reflect this point, the kitchen is full equipped tough. We expected more for the price we paid (private room) and wouldn't consider it for future visits to Montreal.

The only thing that I thought it was uncomfortable was the washroom that didn't have a sink. Although I liked the sink in tge bedroom.

Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly, and great location close to downtown and to plateau

It's a bit far from downtown, with some inconveniences; the bathroom and the shower are separated on the basement and 2nd floors, with no sink nor soap (the sink is in the dormitory). Other features make up for it - excellent staff, cleanliness, security, free breakfast, fan, the well-built extra outdoor shower, the extended and shielded space in the air - the terrace for breakfast and and sit-out, the beautiful vines on the outdoor steel staircase, and excellent prices.

Absolutely loved my stay here, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect!

It was a really good place. Calm, extremely well located to visit the old city, move around through subway or bus, or get to the chic Plateau. And it was great to sleep, without to noise. Services were well and not saturated. The personnel is very gentle. The atmosphere of the guests is not too great because most guests are never in the Gite
