Well the location it' s really great, the only thing that made us a bit unsatisfied is that the breakfast was quite poor (only one kind of bread, croissant, milk, hot water, butter, jam, orange juice(by the way was 10% orange and the rest was water) so the taste was dreadful, and we had dinner only once, and the dining/kitchen room were quite dirty and for some points not well furnished..besides those two facts all the rest was amazing
i loved this hostel! just 2 minutes from the metro, in the heart of montmartre region,10 minutes to sacre church! it was amazing .. i will definitely recommend to stay there
"Double" bed is not made for two people and you can hear every bit of noise throughout the hostel which woke us up multiple times despite having a private room. Sink in the room was handy though. Otherwise it's a good enough hostel near tubes and Sacre Couer. Nice breakfast, good coffee. Hostel is in a safe area with lots of brasseries and cafes. Kitchen is ok, does the job but no oven. Staff helpful.
Reasonable place to stay. Rooms are small but bed was large. Thin walls and wooden floors carry noise. Music playing from reception late at night was annoying. Small breakfast each morning was good. Showers and toilets downstairs were very clean. Staff were very nice. Overall if you are looking for a cheaper option to stay this is acceptable.
Stayed with three friends for four nights. It was quiet, in a good location and a good price. Just what we needed.
Second time I stay here and everything is still as good, many thanks!
At this hostel you'll find: excellent price, breakfast included, calmness, clean beds, private bathroom, good atmosphere and good location. The only, so to speak, disadvantage of this place is that it has little lockers (its size is good for saving valuable objects, but not for saving for example your mid-size luggage, for instance) I recommend your stay here!
Nice staff and good breakfast. The hostel is near the metro stations. Grocery stores and restaurants are near too. The blanket was a little too thin through, it isn't very warm at night.
Staff were all super helpful. Pretty good location could walk to the station and then get the train to Paris in about 20 minutes. Never had to queue for a shower. No lift so had to carry suitcases up 3 levels. Really good value for money. Good experience overall. Would probably stay here again.
Overall a tidy hostel with an open and friendly atmosphere. Our room had a sink in it, which is convenient. However, it was on the 5th floor, and there's no elevator (so be aware of that if you're traveling with a big suitcase). The door to the toilet didn't lock properly (though the one for the shower was fine). Overall I liked the feel of the building, it was in a very good location, and was reasonably priced. I would stay there again for sure the next time I go to Paris.
I highly recommend this hostel.great price for Paris, location is great with Sacre Coeur nearby, staff was extremely friendly, especially lady at breakfast and cleaning man. That's also the thing I liked a lot,the room was cleaned every day, trash can and bed was made like the first day ( i'm not used to this. I stay at hostels a lot and if you stay there a few days in a row they usually don't clean in between. The only thing that could be improved is the temperature in the room. Could be warmer
Beds are very shaky.. you definitely wake up because of the other person.. In my part (6 beds room), there were 2 toilets and 2 showers for at least 30 people and they were totally small, you cannot do in there anything without touching the walls.. No lockers in the room but in the reception..
The staff were friendly and were very helpful in making our stay more enjoyable with good information on activities.

The room is close to the street, very small and dim. The shower is broken. Breakfast is simple and not sufficient.
The bathroom was very dirty and was always smelling bad. Another thing that I didn't like was the fact that was only one shower for all the floor. The staff, otherwise, were very nice and helpfully!
Next to the sacre-coer, it was a nice hostel to stay. Beds cosy, everything clean in the bedroom, the breakfast was not that good (just the croassaints was good). The city centre is a long walk away, but Paris is so beautiful that I did almost all my trip walking.
The hostel is very good! Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Location is near metro and supermarkets, etc. Just one down: booked for a ensuite bedroom, got a bedroom with shower and sink. The toilet was outside the room and had a very strange and disgusting smell, even though appeared to be very clean every time.
I was really impressed with this Hostel. My friend and I shared a private twin. It was clean and quiet. The only "complaint' I would have was that there didn't seem to be much hot water - but I guess this can be expected in an older building with a lot of people in it! Great location - really easy to get anywhere in Paris from there.
I always like staying at the Montclair Hostel. However, this time there were a couple things a little off. First I was given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke--I didn't think smoking was allowed in these rooms, and if so, there should be an option for smoking or non-smoking. Secondly, both times I stayed recently I was put all the way on the top floors. It was clear that the hostel was barely full because of the winter season, but yet they would not accommodate me with a lower room.
