Why dont you have power plugs in the rooms? I know is a hostel, but this is the first one i have ever been with that unconfortable condition. Staff is not so nice, specially a blond girl (which name I can't remember) with her arrogant manners, but I think is normal considering that you are in Paris.

Nice, clean hostel in good and calm location in Montmartre. Breakfast was very nice also, wifi available throughout the hostel. Beds are a bit squeaky but overall a great experience for a couple of nights on a budget.

A fairly good hostel at a reasonable price in Paris. A few things hold me back on giving a better review. It is a tall, narrow building with only one exit. I would hate to see the outcome if there is a fire. I don't know if this is legal, but as a hostel, I think it is unacceptable. The showers are very temperamental, and I didn't appreciate them jumping from hot to cold during December!. Finally, the booze they sell if a ripoff.

Dear Guest, we have 2 exits, a big one and a second one near the fusball table, maybe you did'nt see it ? What is the ripoff with the drinks we propose ? Regards

The hostel was great! Clean rooms, nice breakfast, just 3 min from the tube station and 10 min from Sacre coeur. There are also a lot of bars around, so it was definitely worth staying there and I would highly recommend it.

No hot water, except for some dripping. Building is run down; needs a serious renovation. Very noisy. With windows closed the room got stuffy and stinky, but with windows open it was too cold and even noisier. There was only one thin sheet on the mattress. A mattress protector in between the mattress and the sheet would have been more hygenic. Position of furniture and doors made it difficult to move around in the room. Breakfast was fine, but no fruit. Very friendly staff.

Me and a friend visited the hostel for two nights in November. It's good value for money, clean and basic - exactly what we expected given the cheap cost. We had a twin ensuite on the top floor which was spacious with a balcony. The only things I would say is that the plug sockets are not easily accessible, at night the corridor was very noisy and the walls between rooms are very thin and not remotely sound proofed. Also twin beds would be better fthan bunk beds for a private room.

Location was quite a bit out of central Paris, but there is a metro station extremely close that connects to a lot of the big landmarks so not too much of a problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was good but not a lot of people interacted with each other. It was reasonably clean but the bathroom door on our level didn't shut properly and you could hear everything from the corridor. I think they were re painting the place as everything stunk of paint fumes.

The hostel wasn't in the most prime location, but close to the metro so you can get anywhere easily. The staff was amazing! My friend in paris offered us to stay with them and the hostel gladly refunded my money. The breakfast is amazing. So delicious. The beds are good, the place is clean, and the atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend this place!!

The dirtiest place I have stayed in! Toilets are very dirty, showers usually cold and always dirty and mouldy. Cleaners try their best, but only a couple of bathrooms for so many people. Good breakfast, friendly staff. If you stay pay the extra and take a private with private bathrm. VERY DIRTY!!

Hi there, Sorry for the inconvenience during your stay with us, the shower and toilets are cleaned 2 times per day, and it's only for 3 rooms per floor, it means 6 people. We finish the renovations last week and all the bathroom are new now. We hope to see you again for a better stay Regards

I definitely recommend the hostel Montclair Montmartre. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom and it was ok, not very big but it had everything we needed and it was very clean. Bed sheets are included. The location is great also. The breakfast is included and it is very good. The only problem was the noise at night but we used the earplugs (provided for free at the reception) so it was ok. Definitely good value for the cheap price.

It's close to Montmartre which is great and also the metro so you have everything pretty close, although not the nicest neighborhood. Bad thing, showers are sooo small and the water is not so warm and you have to keep pushing the bottom for it to keep going out. The breakfast is okay and the staff is nice

Stayed 8 nights. Good location and sleep. Look elsewhere if you are looking to make friends Pros: Location is good in Montmarte and 2 subway lines which can get you to major tourist attractions in 15 mins. Good wi-fi even in bed rooms. Cons: 1. Very little atmosphere in hostel. Staff do not interact and do not leave behind the front desk. No group activities. 2. Staff had no clue how the public buses worked. I was forced to catch a taxi instead to the train station at 6am. 3 Pricey

We were generally pleased with our visit to the Montclair, especially with the staff who were exceptionally kind and helpful at all times. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean, and it was good value, especially considering the price of everywhere else is Paris. Not for people who can't travel light, as the stairs aren't very suitcase friendly!

We liked this Hostel a lot! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and they had a lot of amenities. It is a couple minutes walk from the metro so it's super easy to get around Paris.

Bathrooms and toilets were hygienic but everything was very cramped and run down. There needs to be an elevator!

Great place. All the commodities, free lockers, free breakfast, great people working there. Could walk everywhere if you like it or get a subway ride located very near by. Woman working there even printed boarding passes for us free of charge. Highly recommended. Just someone tell the girl who brought cheese in the room that it's not cool hahaha!!

I haven't noticed anything special, but the overall experience was cool. My friends were in different rooms and all three of them had their own bathroom and shower (which was, admitedly "push to start and keep pushing almost constantly", but otherwise fine.) The street outside is pretty quiet, even though there are lively street close around. You can buy some snacks and soft drinks and wine at the reception, which is handy. There are lockers for 50 cents, TV and computers. All the nice things :D

Awesome hostel, very close to the Metro so can be in the centre of Paris in 15mins, excellent value for money and near plenty of supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. Only negative is that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, so you're limited to microwave meals. Nevertheless, excellent hostel that is superb value for money :)
