It was difficult to find the way, but it was not fault of the hostel, just the double address is a bit confusing and also no sign saying that there is a hostel might be causing you troubles. The staff was very sweet, family atmosphere. You can hear everything down of your window - there is a vibrant street, but in the evening it is quite calm. Very cold in the winter/spring time in the room, heating switches off in the night. Otherwise the location nearby the canal is perfect.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Venice at Le Repubbliche Marinare. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and accommodating to let me check in 2 hours prior to our discussed check in time. I would definitely stay here again, If i ever find myself in Venice again.

Had to wait at the arrive and were guided to another place , but this was awesome, really !

Although a little expensive like most things in Venice, it was very comforting and well equiped

We enjoyed very much our stay in Republiche Marinare. The facilities are new and clean, the bedroom was big and tidy, good breakfast, we had the kind of privacy it is usually rare to find travelling around on a low budget. Had a little bit of trouble finding it, but it´s Venice, right? We got the low season prices, so it was very good value for money. Wouldn´t know about it in high season.
