Great location, near the beach and train terminal. Helpful staff in terms of where to go and what to see.

Location of the appartment is awesome (just 1 block far from the beach and restaurants) Heating system wasn´t operating anymore (although we got a cold night) price is something expensive if compared with hotels with the same caracteristics (but pehaps it´s a matter of the competitiveness in this village, in which there are few offers of rooms) clean room and friendly personal

Our room was tiny, spartan, characterless and smelled heavily of disinfectant. It was next to an outdoor staircase so people could hear and see us and climb in the window if it was open...and noisy from both the train and the restaurant below. On the positive side it was a very short walk to the beach and parking lot. The staff was nice (spoke no English) and gave a 20 Euro refund when there was no hot water for our shower. The town is trying hard to recover from the devastating 2011 floods.

Such a sweet lady that runs the b and b, she gives a good orientation of the area and things to do when you arrive. She reccomends her sons restaurants which are located in the old town. These are amazing and well worth the visit! It is very clean and very close to the train station and the waterfront. No tea and coffee making facilities but you don't really need them with all the great little cafes so close!

It is better to install an exhaust fan in the room, and take some measures to avoid water flowing into the bedroom when bathing.

100 euros for an hostel room (we are a couple: 50 euros each for a shared bedroom). It's really too much, especially when for the same money you can have a room in an Hotel. And it was a complete waste of money because even the water in the shower was cold..

Character - average Security - not that great, someone entered our LOCKED room in the middle of the night Location - amazing, couldn't ask for anything better unless you want to pay more to get a view of the sea at a nicer place Staff - friendly Atmosphere - average Cleanliness - average, not the cleanest, but ok Value for Money - we booked late, so we didn't really have a choice as to where we could stay, you're really paying for the location Facilities - nice that we had our own bathroom

For the price the Le Sirene B&B was nice. It was right in the middle of the beach portion of Monterosso (it's a small place, so everything is really close anyway). The rooms are all on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Not sure why it's called a B&B though because I don't think they even served breakfast- but it didn't matter to me. I just grabbed a cappuccino from a nearby store. For the price- it was very convenient and clean. I'd recommend it to my friends and family.

The reception was wonderful upon arrival! They are very sweet and helpful. The location was great\ Negatives: i found quite a bit of black hair in the sheets and blanket on my bed as well as on the shower wall. Also couldn't get hot water in my shower the first night, it stayed lukewarm, the second night was better though! One night I also experienced a lot of noise from the people in the rooms near mine. I could hear doors closing and talking for hours in the middle of the night.

The staff at Le Sirene were so amazing! We had to leave a day early because of a train strike, and they were very understanding and worked with us. Great place! I will recommend it to anyone I know going to Cinque Terre in the future! :)

Very nice little hotel, and very close to the beach- however, it is not in the main part of town (10 min walk). I\'d also note that this hotel is actually made up of two different locations (right next door to each other) and that one is a bit nicer than the other- We booked Le Sirene but were actually placed in \'something de sole\' which was nice and clean, but not as nice as what we thought we were getting.

Good location with easy access to the train station (if you don't want to carry heave bags for ages). The staff were really friendly and very helpful. A clean, simple room with everything you need - fair for the price.

Wonderful family that did a great job getting us acquainted with the area. Great map upon arrival. Also led us to amazing restaurant owned by family. Would highly recommend this hostel for ANYONE going to Cinque Terre! So close to train station, yet quiet. Had a great view of the sea, too! Towels and linens were fresh, room was so clean. Great water pressure and temperature! Highly recommended :)

Great experience overall but will caution other travelers that beds are very soft (basically a pad on springs with a lot of give) and walls are rather thin, your experience may vary but I had some very loud neighbors. As a side note you MUST try the families restaurant, one of the best meals I had in my 12 days in Italy!!

Ermanna and her son Emiliano were lovely hosts, so welcoming and helpful. There was no problem at all when we cut our stay short by a night. Our room was basic but clean, with a very small bathroom, but was all we needed really.
