Horrible customer service. I will never stay at this hostel again. Staff members knocking on our door demanding more money twenty minutes after checking in. The lady working the counter never apologized even though they were in the wrong. Absolutely unbelievable. We were clear with her from the beginning that my wife was not staying the night because she flew out that evening. We talked to her in the morning about this to make sure. She then sends a staff member to harass us for more money.

Amazing place, I can't wait to go back. Amazing location, right by the metro and the heart of the city. The lady you check in with is sooooo nice and accomodating. She gives you a map and boat shedule that really come in handy. She also marks the map with common necessities (ATM, good restaurants, etc). She also gives you her card which gives you 10% off her son's restaurants (the pizza place is AMAZING! we ate there twice). The room is really clean and way worth the money. We had a balcony too!

Amazing location. Double room is small but I was fine with that considering I was there to enjoy the beach not hang out in my room. Great staff ...

I expected a little more for what we paid. Staff was not great. Our room felt hard to keep clean because there was a dampness that just kept everything sticky and wet. Couldn't keep our window open because a room next two ours had a patio connected to our window. I was expecting some sort of view but there was none. Location right near train is great, but some might prefer to stay in the historical, downtown side of Monterosso more.

The owner did not speak excellent English, but she always figured out how to communicate with us. I got food poisoning the day we were supposed to checkout and she let me stay an hour and a half past the normal checkout time. Much appreciated!!!

This is a PERFECT location - a minutes' walk from the beach and parking, maybe five minutes to the train station, all of which is along the stretch of restaurants and shops. Depending on which building of rooms you're in, you may or may not have wireless access, but it's free with booking and there's a bench outside of the office where you can sit with your phone/computer. Our bathroom and bedroom were small, but clean and neat, so for one night it was completely fine. Ermanna is wonderful!

Great location in Monterosso. Ermanna was very sweet and helpful. Her family owns 3 restaurants in the area which were excellent and you get a small discount at for staying in their hotel/hostel.

This was the cheapest accommodation we could find in the Cinque Terre. The lady who greeted us was lovely but unfortunately gave us incorrect information about the coastal walks being open when in fact they were all shut. Basic room with no wifi and uncomfortable bed, but good security. It's in a good location close to the beach and train station.
