Good practical set up of dorms and I like the ecological theme. I found the atmosphere a bit dull though...perhaps it was just a quiet night.

if you stay in montreal, stay here. i was a little chilly at night, and the mattresses are a bit loud, but otherwise this is a well-kept hostel. will be going back.

amazing hostel, and the best i've been to in north america, for sure. tons of character and the other qualm is the kinda loud beds and the fact that one of my showers was SCALDING hot. other than that, though, it's absolutely brilliant. the set-up of the place, the staff, etc. makes it all kinda feel like a home.

Pretty good Hostel. We were given a bunk without a ladder and no linens and were not told how the kitchen rules went, nor were we given a proper tour.

I loved this hostel and I can't wait to come back! I went in October, so the hostel was a little bit cold, but I just slept in a sweater and I was fine. There isn't any parking and one has to pay extra for a locker, but the atmosphere is wonderful and the workers are really friendly, and I highly recommend this hostel to most everybody.

It is nice with much character in the private bedrooms (which are caravans !), butwe were very cold in the room, there is very little isolation...

Did not realise '4 bed private' meant two double air beds. other than that, it was all great as expected. =)

The beds here are inflatable mattresses, which are fine and comfortable enough, but make a lot of noise whenever anyone gets into one or moves in their sleep. Overall though I liked the place and would stay here again.
