Place was somewhat hard to find due to small signage and booths out on the street. One of the lights were broken in my room and the window would not shut, which is bad due to the smog in Malaysia right now, due to Indonesian farmers burning their crops.

You get what you pay for, which in this case is a simple, dirty hostel with terrible internet and a lot of guys walking around in their underwear and smoking. Location is amazing and staff is nice, but definitely more a place to crash for the night than a place to stay. Have moved to a cleaner, quieter hostel with better internet and AC for the same price, but the location of Le Village can't be beat!

A little retreat in the heart of Chinatown with easy access to trains and buses, next to a spa. Rooms are small and basic, ideal if all you need is somewhere to rest after a long day of sightseeing (unless you get a room with a window that doesn't close!!). Cleanliness could be improved upon. The staff, especially Shariq, are extremely attentive and cordial!! They are the reason why we have, and will continue to, come back. Thanks guys.

The guys were really friendly Linen was really old

It is highlighted most for the value of money and strategic location of the hostel. The landmark, Reggae Bar and Hong Leong Bank in the Petaling Street Market should be highlighted.

As a cheap and cheerful hostel this place is bang on, the location is great. However, after staying one night, I realised on my way to the airport the next morning that I was absolutely covered head to toe in bed bug bites. These were excruciatingly itchy and uncomfortable and pretty much ruined my next week of travelling, and two weeks later haven't healed! I was on the third floor and my sister in the bunk below didn't get bitten at all so maybe it was just the one bed.

The staff was super nice and helpful, and location great, only complaint was the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom and room. It wasn't horrible but no toilet paper was provided in any toilet, and the room had a carpet floor, was really dirty on the carpet, and the photos on your site are not at all comparable to the overall cleanliness of the room.

Excellent hostel. Staff are very friendly. When I had to leave to another area in Malaysia they had no objection to leaving my extra luggage at their custory till I come back. That was a very cooperative point especially from Rocky. M. Akkoub
