The kitchen was very basic but usable , not too clean and we had to wait along time untill the person in charge was available
Pro's: good location, bus station, town centre is easy accessible on foot. Welcoming and friendly receptionist. Con's: bathroom facilities are not clean, rotten doors, small ants, cockroaches. Room was very basic, bed, fan, plugin, thats all. Smoking (local) people in the communal area, disgusting. Overall not really a place to meet travellers from all over the world. If you can lower your expectations regarding cleanliness to minimum, that's ok. Otherwise stay at a nicer place with more atmopshere
The highlight was the staff, a nice host and an even nicer manager. Both help, whenever they can. 10 min walk to center.
You get what you pay for and considering what you pay here for one night it's not half bad. You have an ok bed in an ok location, 5 min walk from jonker walk. Just consider: no AC, no warm water, no toiletpaper, no lockers, quite a lot of ants and mosquitos. However, staff is very friendly. Gave me loads of free fruit he got from the market. Overall, it's just a really cheap place so don't expect too much, but would recommend to stay here if you're on a budget and don't have high standards!

is not in the center of melaka, but you have to walk just 5min. you are near the shopping mall, a veggie foodcourt, indian restos, 7/11, water refiller, maritime museum. the price is the most cheap ever, you have free wifi, the and coffee all day long, cheap loundry, clean rooms with fan, confy beds, a smoking area inside, tv, dvd. the staff is really nice!
